  • Day 1 Day 1: Samarkand- Pendjikent- Seven Lake

      Day 1: Samarkand- Pendjikent- Seven Lake

      Early morning transfer to the Uzbekistan-Tajikistan border crossing at Jartepa (50 km, 1 h). Customs and passport control on both sides, cross the border, meet Tajik local guide and driver and drive to Pendjikent via the settlement of Sarazm, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List (20 km). Start sightseeing tour in Pendjikent: Rudaki Museum, local Bazaar and mosque. Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch drive to Seven Lakes (80 km)- different colora in mountains of Tajikistan . The Seven Lakes ( Mijgon, Soya, Hushyor, Nophin, Khurdak, Marguzor, Hazorchashma) are located in the west of Fann mountains; each of them has its own colour which varies from calming turquoise to mesmerizing purple. Today is your chance to discover the exquisite Seven Lakes and decide which is your favorite. At the last lake of Khoazorchashma you will enjoy a walking around the lake. Overnight at homestay.   • Day 2 Day 2: Seven Lake- Artuch Camp Base

      Day 2: Seven Lake- Artuch Camp Base

      In ย the late morning transfer to Artuch camp base. Today we take a hike to Lake Chukurak. We slowly ascend along the river through the thick juniper trees. Before we reach Lake Chukurak, we should cross the river that flows down. We then climb to the shore of Lake Chukurak (2,435m). Then we go for a walk around the lake. We see the high pastures above, where Tajik shepherds spend the summer in simple huts and look after their grazing sheep and goat herds. After enjoying the picnic at the lake, we descend back to the camp. ย Overnight at camp base. ย (B,L, D)

  • Day 3 Day 3: Artuch Camp Base - Samarkand
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Artuch Camp Base - Samarkand

      Late in the morning return to the Jartepa border crossing (130 km), customs and passport control, continue to Uzbekistan. Meet your driver and transfer to Samarkand. Arrive in Samarkand, transfer to the hotel. (B,L,-)
