    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Cusco โ€“ Humantay Lake โ€“Soraypampa

Today we will depart very early from Cusco, at 5:00 am and make the 3-hour journey to the town of Mollepata, the gateway to the Salkantay valley. Along the way, you will experience many different micro-climates and altitudes, each with its unique agricultural essence, such as the town of Limatambo, known for its avocados. Here we will have a quick breakfast before continuing back up in elevation to the community of Soraypampa where we begin our trek. After lunch, our first stop will be at the Humantay Lake, magical turquoise waters that lay right at the foot of this massive glacier. Returning to camp in Soraypampa, where we will settle in for the night, and weather permitting, a spectacular night show of constellations and the possible shooting star.
