  • Day 1 Day 1: Cuzco - Mollepata - Challacancha - Soraypampa

      Day 1: Cuzco - Mollepata - Challacancha - Soraypampa

      Around 4:30 a.m. we will be picked up at our accommodation in Cuzco to head for Mollepata, which is 2900 meters high. There we will have breakfast and at the end we will go to Marcocasa, population from which we will begin our walk until we reach Soraypampa, where we will have our lunch.

      After lunch we will continue to the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, there we will enjoy incredible views of the lagoon with the snow in the background, creating a landscape that is considered one of the most beautiful of the Andes. We will return to the Soraypampa camp where we will have dinner and rest until the next morning.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Soraypampa - Soyrococha โ€“ Huayracmachay โ€“ Colpapampa

      Being 7:00 am we will enjoy a delicious breakfast and then continue with our walk, having an ascent of approximately 3 hrs, until we reach the highest point 4600 m.a.s.l. there we can appreciate the mountain of Salkantay in all its splendor, then we will continue our trek with a descent that will take us a time of 2hrs approx. Until we reach Huayracpampa, where we will have our lunch, then we will resume the walk entering the jungle eyebrow landscape, in this section we will appreciate formations of the rivers that then become tributaries of the Urubamba River, variety of orchids and diverse plants, we will arrive to Chaullay, where we will camp and spend the second night.

      Continuing our walk after a comforting breakfast we will start our walk appreciating a variety of coca crops, considered the sacred leaf of our ancestors which grows in tropical areas, likewise we can appreciate plantations, granadilla (Inca fruit), abocado, etc. Until we reach Playa, where we will take our lunch, then we will take a bus that will take us to the town of Santa Teresa, which has hot springs, in which we will take a refreshing bath and spend the third night.

      The sunrise will be with a comforting breakfast, we will continue our trip in the direction of Machu Picchu town, reaching this town will take us approximately 6 hours. Having stops in some places to appreciate the landscape with impressive falls which come from the glaciers, arriving at Hydroelectric where we will have our lunch, in the afternoon we will continue our walk until we reach the town of โ€œhot watersโ€, there we will stay in a lodging where We will spend the night at the foot of the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.

      In the early morning around 4.30 in the morning we will ascend walking towards the majestic Inca city of Machu Picchu where we will visit with our guide an approximate 2 hrs, and the rest of the free day, in which you can visit Huayna Picchu (According to availability and if your reservation was in advance), Inti punku, temple of the moon or simply visit once again the entire citadel, and in the afternoon return walking to the town of Aguas Calientes depending on the schedule of our return train which we will announce once you book your trip with our company. There we will board the return train to Ollantaytambo where the transfer will be waiting for you to embark on the return transport to Cusco.
