  • Day 1 Transfer To Kibale Forest National Park

      Transfer To Kibale Forest National Park

      Our Rumara Safari guide will meet and brief you about the safari and then drive you to Fort Portal. You will travel through the scenic towns of Mityana and Mubende; stopping for lunch in Mubende. After lunch you will continue your drive to Kibale National Park, arriving in the late afternoon to check-in at the Kibale Forest Camp (Safari Tent). You will have the option of visiting the nearby Crater Lake or opt to rest at the lodge. Dinner will be served later in the evening and then you will settle in for the night.

  • Day 2 Chimp Trekking In Kibale National Park

      Chimp Trekking In Kibale National Park

      You will rise early, have breakfast and then take part in a briefing about the โ€œdoโ€™s and donโ€™tsโ€ of chimpanzee trekking. You will then be led by a forest guide who will help you identify the many tree and plant species as you make your way through the forest in search of the chimps. Once located, you will be given 1 hour to interact with these amazing primates, watch as they play, care for and feed the young ones. After your trek, you will return to camp for a late lunch and then embark on a nature walk where you will view more primates as well as birds. You will also visit the local community based projects that are funded by tourism. Later in the evening you will have dinner and settle in for your overnight stay.

  • Day 3 Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

      Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

      After breakfast, you will check-out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, located at the bottom of the Rwenzori Mountain; one of the finest mountain ranges in the whole world. Along the way, you will view many animals during your drive to the park which has got over 100 mammal species and over 606 bird species. Upon arrival, you will check in at Elephant Hab Lodge, enjoy a hot dinner and settle in for your overnight stay

      Early Morning Game Drive In Queen Elizabeth National Park And Kazinga Channel Experience In The Afternoon

      Wake up to the sounds of nature, get on board and embark on a sunrise game drive. The vast savannah plains, swamps and forests of Queen Elizabeth are home to about 95 mammals and over 600 bird species. Look out for lions, leopards, elephants, warthogs, bushbucks, Cape buffaloes and waterbucks among others. We shall employ a network of trails to access animal habitats and create more avenues for you to see and experience as much as nature shall make available.

      After lunch, you will transfer to the pier/dock to arrive on time for your afternoon boat-ride on boat Kazinga Channel. A thread of water that joins lakes George and Edward, Kazinga Channel is a lifeline/habitat to Nile crocodiles, arguably the largest herds of hippos on planet Earth, different species of egrets, Goliath herons, saddle-billed storks, African fish eagles, Egyptian geese and cormorants among other bird species. The channel is a water source for elephants, buffaloes and many other bird species.

  • Day 5 Mini Game Drive In Queen Elizabeth National Parkโ€™S Ishasha Sector And Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

      Today morning, you will go for a mini game drive at the Ishasha sector before proceeding to Bwindi Impenetrable National park, which is home to half of the worldโ€™s mountain gorillas and other animals that include forest elephants and buffalos, duikers, chimpanzees and other monkeys. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a UNESCO world heritage site too.

  • Day 6 Gorilla Trekking And Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi For A Relaxation Evenning

      Gorilla Trekking And Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi For A Relaxation Evenning

      This is a special day dedicated for the mountain gorillas. The Bwindi Impenetrable National Park supports a minimum of 400 mountain gorillas which on global scale are given as critically scarce. Therefore, undertaking the gorilla trekking experience in the hilly forested landscapes of Bwindi is such a life time endeavor that will create lasting memories. You gather at the respective park headquarters for briefing in the morning at 8am where you are also allocated the respective gorilla families to track. From here, you head to the forest in the company of the armed ranger guides that will lead you up the gorillas.

      The encounter tends to take 2 โ€“ 8 hours depending on the gorilla movements and one hour is availed to you to have a direct touch with the gorillas. Upon approaching gorillas, their reaction is not foreseeable as it can include them giving you a polite welcome, minding less about you and charging against you.

      You are not limited in any way to ask as many questions about gorillas and their habitats along with taking pictures so long as you have the opportunity to do so. Retreat from the activity and transfer to the starting point to embark on the transfer to Lake Bunyonyi driving through fascinating Kigezi Highlands which locals apply terracing method to cultivate their slopes deriving impressive scenic landscape. You arrive at Lake Bunyonyi in the afternoon for relaxation, dinner and overnight

  • Day 7 Day 7: Transfer Back To Entebbe

      Day 7: Transfer Back To Entebbe

      This is dedicated for your flight departure back home. If the flight is in the evening, you can do a half day tour of Kampala exploring the sites of historical, religious, cultural and political significance. These include; the Ugandan Parliament, the Uganda National Museum, Namugongo Martyrs Shrine where 45 converts were burnt because of converting to Christianity, the Rubaga Cathedral which is the headquarter for catholic faith in Uganda, the Namirembe Cathedral for Protestants and the Bahaโ€™i Temple which is the only temple of the Bahaโ€™i in Africa.
