Itinerary

Day 1: Dar es Salaam โ€“ Iringa Transfer

Pass By: Iringa Boma - Regional Museum and Cultural Centre, Boma Road, Iringa 0000 Tanzania
This morning you will leave Dar es Salaam at 8:30Am with Sutco luxury bus to Iringa,

transit via Mikumi National Park. Once you are at Ubungo bus terminal our representative

will be responsible to make sure that you make it into the bus, upon arrival in Iringa you

will meet our guide at the bus station for a short transfer to neema craft for check in,

dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Transfer to Ruaha National Park

Stop At: Ruaha National Park, Iringa Tanzania
Pick up from the hotel just after breakfast and leave for Ruaha National Park, followed by

lunch upon arrival. Afterwards, a game drives until late sunset. Ruaha Park is believed to

have high concentration of elephants than any national park in East Africa. It is also a

place where, magnificent mammals like Kudu (both Greater and Lesser), Sable and Roan

antelopes can easily be spotted in Miombo woodland. Animals and attractions you should

expect to see includes but not limited to Buffalos, Giraffe, Wildebeest, Zebras, Impalas,

Warthogs, elephants, hippos, Lions, Cheetah, different birds, plants and reptiles species.

Dinner and overnight stay on full board basis in the government Bandas.

Day 3: Full Day Game Drive in Ruaha National Park

Stop At: Ruaha National Park, Iringa Tanzania
Full day game drive in Ruaha National Park, your activities will basically concentrate

along the great Ruaha River, Mwagusi Sand River and Mdonya River ,Lunch in the

middle of nowhere followed by more drive to the homes of buffaloes, elephants, lions,

leopards, antelopes, colorful birds and plants until 6.30pm for the beautiful sunset in the

East African Great Rift Valley. After the tour we drive back for dinner and stay overnight

in the government Bandas.

Day 4: Transfer from Ruaha to Udzungwa National Park

Stop At: Ruaha National Park, Iringa Tanzania
Morning game drive starting with a sunrise game drive, breakfast in the bush then drive

to an exit gate heading back to Iringa Town where we will take some few hours for

shopping and Lunch before we proceed to Udzungwa National Park. Udzungwa is a

remnant of the ancient rift valley rainforests and is full of endemics. Swathed in a unique

and fascinating rain forest, the mountains have been untouched for thousands of years

due to the taboos of traditional beliefs. Still rarely visited, Udzungwa is a must for those

looking for this the true 'country of contrasts'. We arrive in the evening, take dinner and

stay overnight in Hondo Hondo camp.

Day 5: .Udzungwa Mountains Hike

Stop At: Udzungwa Mountains National Park, Kidayi Tanzania
Leave the lodge after breakfast then transfer to Udzungwa Mountains National Park

which takes about 10 minutes, check in at the gate and head out to the Sanje waterfalls,

which is a 3 to 4 hour trek through the green forest. Expect to see monkeys, including

rare indigenous Iringa red colabus, and some ancient trees some of them 200 years old!

There are no roads inside the park, but there are plenty of walks of varying length and

difficulty to explore beneath the canopy rainforest and cascading mountain streams.

Explore tropical forests until the late afternoon when we leave for Mikumi town where

we will take dinner and overnight at Veta.

Day 6: Transfer to Dar es Salaam

Pass By: Dar Es Salaam War Cemetery, Bagamoyo Road, Dar es Salaam Tanzania
After breakfast around 10:00am you will catch the Sutco Bus again which come from

Iringa heading back to Dar es Salaam.
