Just behind Trabenโ€Trarbach you reach the Moselle loop near Zell, the "Zeller Hamm". The approximately 900โ€yearโ€old Marienburg is enthroned on the ridge of the mountain, where you have a view of the Moselle from both sides. The town of Zell, which was also once settled by the Romans, is one of the largest wine-growing communities on the Moselle with around 6 million vines. Look forward to Cochem with its picturesque centre and the old imperial castle from the 11th century. Overnight stay in Cochem.

Between the Moselle and steep vineyards, the route continues via Winningen to Koblenz. This is where the Moselle flows into the Rhine at the Deutsches Eck. An exhilarating panoramic view awaits you on the cable car ride to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress (incl.). The numerous sights allow you to immerse yourself in the cityโ€™s varied past. You can end the day with an evening walk. Overnight stay in Koblenz.
