      Meet the Destination Italia assistant in Termini Station (about 8:30 a.m.) and take the high-speed train to Naples. Upon arrival in Naples, our expert local assistant meets you at Naples train station and you will proceed to Pompeii for the private guided tour of the archaeological excavations. This ancient Roman city was destroyed when Vesuvius erupted in 79 AD and buried it, preserving it under a sea of volcanic ash for nearly 1700 years. At the end of the visit transfer to Sorrento, famous for its picturesque old town centre and characteristic fishermanโ€™s village of Marina Grande, one of the most authentic treasures of the city. A local assistant welcomes you at hotel during the check-in. Overnight stay.

      Breakfast in the hotel and departure for the port, according to the details provided.  Sail to Capri by traditional Gozzo Sorrentino(pick up at 7.50 outside the hotel). Enjoy a boat trip around the island and the possibility to swim into its  crystal-clear waters or visit the Blue Grotto (optional entrance not included, weather permitting). Once landed on  the island, you will continue by minibus to discover it and reach the legendary Piazzetta, heart of the island. Enjoy  some free time to explore Capri at your own pace. Return to the port to head back to Sorrento and overnight stay Meals: Breakfast.

      Breakfast in the hotel. Day at leisure for exploring the beauty of the area. Possibility to add optional tours to visit the Amalfi Coast, one of the most enchanting places in Italy, with its mountains dropping sheer to the sea, picturesque villages, and breathtaking landscapes.
