Day 1: Arrival in Yerevan

Stop At: Zvartnots International Airport, Yerevan, Armenia
Travellers will arrive at the airport and will be transfered to the hotel by the company's representative. They will relax on the first day.

Day 2: Yerevan-Ethcmiatsin-Yerevan

Stop At: Echmiadzin Monastery Complex, Vagharshapat 1101 Armenia
Our guide will meet the travellers at the hotel. They will set out to Etchmiatsin Monastery which the Armenian Vatican. The guide will provide explanations about the monstery and will provide tickets for the entrance of the monastery's Treasury.

Stop At: Zvartnots Temple, Yerevan-Vagharshapat Highway Near the Echmiadzin Monastery Complex, Vagharshapat 1101 Armenia
The travellers will continue their guided tour to Zvartnots Temple where they will be exposed to the ruins of the 7th centrury architectural pearl. The travellers will go into the museum.

Stop At: Ziarat Yazidi Temple, Aknalich village, Armavir Armenia
The travellers will visit Ziarat Yazidi Temple that was constructed in 2012. The largest yazidi minority group lives in Armenia compared with all other Yazidi minorities in the world.

Stop At: History Museum of Armenia, Republic Square 4, Yerevan 375010 Armenia
The travellers will have a guided tour in the national history museum of Armenia. The travellers will see unique archeological, numismatic and ethnographical specimens from the period of Paleolith to our days.

Stop At: Vernissage Market, Northern Avenue 6/2 Near Republic Square Subway Station, Yerevan 0013 Armenia
The travellers will visit an open-air market of arts and crafts, unique with its diversity where they can admire objects of different artisans including Armenian cross-stones, silver jewelry, carpets, embroidery, books, paintings, souvenirs, etc.

Day 3: Yerevan-Garni-Geghard-Yerevan

Stop At: The Monastery of Geghard, Near Goght Village, Geghard Armenia
Car drive to Geghard (13th c.), an incredible ancient Armenian monastery, one of Armenia's most significant medieval architectural ensembles partly carved out of a mountain. The marvelous monastic complex of Geghard is a breathtaking pilgrimage site, the name of which means โ€œholy spearโ€ in the honor of the same spear that pierced the body of crucified Christ.

Stop At: Garni Temple, Geghard Monastery Road H3, Garni Armenia
Travellers will visit the only remaining Pagan Temple of Garni in Transcaucasia (I c. AD) devoted to the God of Sun-Mithra.Travellers will also see Roman Bath House of the 3th century with its mosaic floor depicting figures of Greek mythology.
The program includes a family- hosted lunch in the village of Garni and participation in โ€œlavashโ€ (Armenian traditional flat, paper-thin bread) baking process. This bread is made in a traditional Armenian underground oven called tonir.

Day 4: Yerevan-Amberd-Byurakan-Alphabet Park-Yerevan

Stop At: Amberd Fortress, Byurakan Armenia
We set out to Mount Aragats and visit Amberd Fortress Complex (7th-13th cc.), built on the slopes of Mt. Aragats at a height of 2300m above sea level. Amberd is a key example of impregnable fortresses of medieval Armenia.

Stop At: Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory, Byurakan Armenia
After lunch visit and excursion in Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory located on the picturesque southern slope of Mount Aragats. Scientific researches of the observatory are related mainly with the instability phenomena taking place in the Universe. Since 1946 numerous scientific meetings have been held in Byurakan including four symposia and a colloquium of the IAU.

Stop At: Armenian Alphabet Monument, Artashavan Armenia
The Armenian Alphabet Park was founded in 2005 dedicated to the 1600th anniversary of the creation of the Armeinan Alphabet. Set against the backdrop of Armeniaโ€™s Mt. Aragats, stone carvings of the Armenian letters and a statue of Mesrop Mashtots-founder of the Armenian alphabet, pay tribute to the complex.

Day 5: Yerevan-Dilijan-Sevan-Tsaghkadzor-Yerevan

Stop At: Haghartsin Monastery, Dilijan Armenia
After breakfast we depart to discover one of the resort towns in Armenia-Dilijan.The first stop is in Haghartsin monastery complex built between X and XIII centuries near Dilijan. It is hidden in a beautiful enchanted valley of forests.
Then we continue back to Dilijan which is characterized by ozone-charged air and mineral healing sources and visit the famous Sharabeyan street- the street of artisans of the town where we can see a wide range of wooden accessories, khachkars (Armenian crossstones), pottery, embroidery and others in the shops.

Stop At: Monastery Sevanavank, next the Holy Mother of God Church, Sevan Armenia
After Haghartsin Monastery complex we will head for Lake Sevan where we will visit Sevanavank monastery built in the 9th century. After the visit to the monastery, travellers will enjoy a boat ride in the lake which will be finalised by visiting Sevan Beer Brewery where they will have the chance to taste beer.

Stop At: Action Park Tsaghkadzor, Vladimir Harutyunyan St. Tsaghkadzor City Park Territory, Tsakhkadzor 2310 Armenia
On the way to Yerevan we also visit Tsakhadzor, a spa town and health resort, where we take a ropeway on the southeastern slope of Mount Teghenis.

Day 6: Yerevan-Khor Virap-Noravank-Selim Caravanserai-Noratus-Yerevan

Stop At: Khor Virap, Highway 11 - Near the village of Pokr Vedi Artashat, Lusarat 0612 Armenia
After breakfast we set out for the southern part of Armenia and discover Khor Virap-(Deep Dungeon) one of the holy places for all Armenians-the place of the origin of Christian Armenia. It was in the very deep pit in which St. Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned by King Tiridates at the end of the 3th century.
Here is also the closest and most spectacular view of gorgeous biblical Mountain Ararat upon which Noahโ€™s Ark landed after the flood.

Stop At: Noravank Monastery, NoravankMonastery Road Amaghu Valley, Areni 3604 Armenia
Drive to Noravank Monastery built in a stunning red-rock canyon. The complex (9-14th cc.) is situated in a completely isolated area on the slopes of a particularly wild valley. Grandiose and solemn as it is, it blends perfectly with its harsh rocky surroundings. Man-made architecture and natural architecture tend to complement each other.

Stop At: Selim Caravanserai, Vardenyats Pass, Aghnjadzor Armenia
After lunch we cross the Selim Mountain pass, visit Selim caravanserai, one of the Silk Road caravanserais, mentioned in the memories of the Italian traveler Marco Polo.
Duration: 20 minutes

Stop At: Noratus Cemetery, Noratus Armenia
Car drive to the medieval cemetery of Noratus-full of hundreds of medieval Armenian cross-stones. The cemetery has the largest cluster of khachkars in Armenia.
It is currently the largest surviving cemetery with khachkars following the destruction of the khachkars in Old Julfa, Nakhichevan.

Day 7: Yerevan City Tour

Stop At: Matenadaran - The Museum of Ancient Manuscripts, 53 Mesrop Mashots Avenue Kentron District, Yerevan 0009 Armenia
Travellers will visit the museum of ancient manuscripts and a scientific research center, one of the largest world manuscript storages covering a wide spectrum of different subjects like medicin, music, mathematics and still others.
Yerevan sightseeing also includes visits in the Republic Square, the Opera House, North Avenue, "Cascade" Monument, Yerevan State University, Victory Park with its Statue "Mother Armenia", Cathedral of Saint Gregory the Illuminator, Genocide Memorial.The tour will end up with the visit to "Megerian Rugs" factory that has been functioning since 1917.
Farewell dinner in a traditional Armenian restaurant where travellers will be exposed to folk show seasoned with typical Armenian dance and music.
