Day 1 Kathmandu Sightseeing City Tour

Kathmandu Sightseeing City Tour

8:00 AM: Wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel.

9:00 AM: Meet your driver and tour guide in the hotel lobby. Your tour guide will provide you with an introduction to Kathmandu and the places you’ll be visiting today.

10:00 AM: Arrive at Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites in the world. Your tour guide will explain the history and significance of the temple, and you’ll have the opportunity to observe Hindu devotees performing their daily rituals.

11:30 AM: Depart Pashupatinath and head to Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your tour guide will explain the history and symbolism of the stupa, and you’ll have the opportunity to walk around it and soak in the peaceful atmosphere.

12:30 PM: Enjoy a traditional Nepalese lunch at a local restaurant.

1:30 PM: Visit Swoyambhunath Stupa, also known as the Monkey Temple. This ancient Buddhist temple is situated on a hill overlooking the city and offers stunning views of Kathmandu Valley. Your tour guide will provide you with an overview of the temple’s history and significance, and you’ll have the opportunity to interact with the resident monkeys.

3:00 PM: Depart Swoyambhunath and head to Patan Durbar Square, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a stunning example of Newari architecture. Your tour guide will explain the history and cultural significance of the square, and you’ll have the opportunity to explore its temples, palaces, and courtyards.

4:30 PM: Depart Patan Durbar Square and return to your hotel.
