      After breakfast, we set off for Tena, in the Amazon, to explore the Ecuadorian highlands and down into the rainforest.

  • Day 3 Tena (Rafting)

      Tena (Rafting)

      After breakfast, we will spend the day rafting in the Amazon rainforest along Ecuadorโ€™s Jatun Yacu River on a full-day tour from Tena. There you will be equipped with a life jacket, helmet, paddle, and, on rare cold days, a splash jacket. Your guide will take you through all the safety briefings, including some fun, but serious, role-playing to keep you on your toes.

      Then, itโ€™s time to hit the river, a majestic stretch of water perfect for beginners, with wide open spaces and large waves. But itโ€™s also fun for more experienced adventurers, thanks to the large volume of rapids.

      Paddle down the river through beautiful scenery, mastering great rapids and feeling the adrenaline rush of white water. At the end of your rafting adventure, a delicious lunch will be served on the river bank, along with complimentary cold beverages.

      After breakfast, check-out from the hotel, and you will be transferred back to Quito.

      Quito City Tour And The Middle Of The World

      After breakfast, you will go on a tour of one of South Americaโ€™s best-preserved historic city centers. Go to the Basilica del Voto Nacional Church, where you can climb up its high domes. Move towards the Panecillo viewpoint, an iconic place in the city, renowned for its beauty and a giant statue of the Winged Virgin. Here you can admire a beautiful landscape of both colonial and modern Quito (entrance to churches not included).


      Continue on to the traditional La Ronda neighbourhood. In this romantic setting, you can find workshops where you can learn from a group of authentic artisans how their work is done. See the historic trades that keep alive the cultural traditions of this charming city. Stop at Zona Rosa for approximately an hour and a half to have some free time for lunch (not included).


      You will then go to the Middle of the World City, where you can see the monument that divides the northern and southern hemispheres of the planet. Entrance to the Middle of the World complex is included ,where you can enjoy experiences that defy the laws of physics and occur only in this part of the world.

  • Day 6 Quito - Galapagos (San Cristobal)

      After breakfast, depart for the airport to catch a flight to the Galapagos Islands, known for their immense biodiversity. San Cristobal is the easternmost Galapagos island and is home to a rich array of unique wildlife, such as blue- and red-footed boobies, marine iguanas, and Galapagos sea lions. Upon arrival, proceed towards the hotel.

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll embark on a morning excursion to Lobos Island. This tranquil island is separated from San Cristรณbal Island by a channel and boasts coastal vegetation adapted to saltwater conditions. As you explore, youโ€™ll encounter a small colony of frigates, along with sea lions, nesting blue-footed boobies, and a stunning natural breakwater.


      The island features an 850-meter path that takes approximately one hour to traverse. Along the way, youโ€™ll pass through areas with arid vegetation, volcanic rock formations, and sandy beaches. Keep an eye out for marine iguanas, lava lizards, and snakes native to the eastern Galapagos.


      During snorkeling sessions, itโ€™s common to encounter juvenile sea lions, rays, and sea turtles. Your visit will include a stop at Playa Ochoa, where you can unwind and enjoy the breathtaking surroundings of this beautiful beach.

      After breakfast, you will visit Kicker Rock Islet, Enjoy an action-packed day trip to the scenic Kicker Rock Islet. Snorkel in one of the most biodiverse areas in the Galapagos Islands, teeming with wildlife ranging from hammerhead sharks to manta rays. Enjoy a tasty lunch and time to explore a nearby deserted beach. You wonโ€™t have to worry about how to get there, as transfers between San Cristobal and Kicker Rock Island are included.

      After breakfast, check out of the hotel and proceed towards the airport to catch the flight to Guayaquil, Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel.

      Breakfast at the hotel Get out and explore Guayaquil on a fascinating city tour. Go to the Parque Seminario, where the resident iguanas feed off mango slices from enchanted tourists! Admire the faรงade of the San Pedro Apostol Metropolitan Cathedral, built on the site of the cityโ€™s original cathedral made of wood. See the neoclassical Palacio Municipal, considered one of Ecuadorโ€™s most important architectural works.


      Take a look at the Malecรณn Simon Bolvar boardwalk, constructed along the waterfront of the Guayas River. Visit the monument of the Hemiciclo de la Rotonda, and venture into the traditional barrio (district) of Las Peรฑas to admire the colonial houses painted in different colors. Explore the regenerated area of Puerto Santa Ana, once dominated by warehouses, and see the Ecua-Andino factory where the famous Panama hats are produced.
