This meeting will provide an overview of the trek, and essential information, and answer any last-minute questions, ensuring you are fully prepared for the adventure ahead. The evening is free for you to explore the vibrant streets of Thamel or relax at your hotel.

  • Day 2 Drive To Pokhara From Kathmandu

      After breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, covering a distance of 200 kilometers. The journey, which takes approximately 5-6 hours, offers picturesque views of terraced fields, traditional villages, and the Trishuli River. Upon arrival in Pokhara, you will check into Hotel Lake Star or a similar establishment. The rest of the day is yours to explore the beautiful lakeside city, visit the famous Phewa Lake, or simply relax and enjoy the serene environment.

From Ulleri, the trek begins with a gradual ascent through lush forests and terraced fields, leading you to the village of Ghorepani at 2,874 meters. The trek takes approximately 3 hours, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Upon arrival in Ghorepani, you will check into a cozy lodge for the night, enjoying the warm hospitality of the locals.

      You will wake up early for a pre-dawn hike to Poon Hill, located at 3,210 meters, to witness one of the most spectacular sunrises over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri mountain ranges. After soaking in the breathtaking views, you will return to Ghorepani for breakfast. The trek then continues through dense rhododendron forests and along scenic trails to reach Tadapani, situated at 2,675 meters. The 5-6 hours trek is filled with diverse flora and fauna, providing ample opportunities for photography and nature observation. You will spend the night in a comfortable lodge in Tadapani.
