In September, Andalucia stands on the cusp of the hot summer and a new, milder season; it is a time of autumn flowers, crystal clear light, glimpses of green grass appearing after early rains, wisps of light cloud hugging the mountainsides.
This painting course will look at what is meant by abstract painting, compared with realistic painting, and the spectrum of abstraction that exists between them โ from painting what is seen in an expressive way through to using a bold palette, to presenting a purely representational or emotional response to the landscape.
