Itinerary of your trip Perú: Lima & Cusco - 4 Days

  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival In The City Of Lima,

      Day 1: Arrival In The City Of Lima,

      Arrival in the city of Lima, assistance and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will walk through the main streets, squares and avenues of the city. We will start with the Parque del Amor in Miraflores (with a spectacular view of the Pacific Ocean), then we will have a panoramic view of the Huaca Pucllana (ceremonial center of Lima culture), we will continue to the Plaza de Armas (we will find: Government Palace and the City Hall). We will visit the Cathedral and walk to the Santo Domingo Convent (whose corridors were passed by San Martín de Porras and Santa Rosa de Lima in the 17th century and where their remains currently lie). Accommodation in Lima.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Lima / Cusco

      Day 2: Lima / Cusco

      Transfer to the airport for our departure to Cusco (Flight Not Included). Upon arrival in Cusco you will be assisted and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the morning free to acclimatise. In the afternoon, visit the imperial city of Cusco. We will ascend to the Archaeological Park of Sacsayhuaman and we will start the excursion visiting the fortress of the same name (a place that radiates peace and tranquility), we will admire the huge rocks up to 4 meters high that were used in its construction. We will continue with the visit to Q’enqo (ancient Puma temple where you can see an altar for sacrifices in the internal part of a huge rock), then we continue to Tambomachay (sacred sources of life and health). On the way, we will have a panoramic view of Puca Pucará (watchtower that guarded the entrance to the city). Then, we will go to the Korikancha (Temple to the god Inti - the Sun) on which the Church of Santo Domingo was built, the chronicles tell that this temple was covered with gold in Inca times. To finish we will visit the Plaza de Armas and enter the Cathedral (it treasures invaluable colonial works and paintings, such as the Cross that arrived with the first conquerors).   • Day 3 Day 3: Cusco / Machu Picchu / Cusco
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Cusco / Machu Picchu / Cusco

      We will go to the Poroy or Ollantaytambo train station (according to the season), we will depart by train to visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We will arrive at the Aguas Calientes station, where our staff will assist us to board the transport that will ascend through an intricate path giving us a spectacular view of the Urubamba River that shapes the famous canyon. We arrive at the Lost City of the Incas - Machu Picchu* (it will receive us with its incredible terraces, stairways, ceremonial precincts and urban areas). After a guided tour, we will have lunch in one of the restaurants in the area. At the coordinated time, we will return by train and we will be transferred to the hotel. Accommodation in Cusco.
