Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Ushuaia, Argentina. The Southernmost city

Pass By: Ushuaia, Ushuaia, Province of Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia
Arrival in Buenos Aires International airport EZE (Ministro Pistarini). Take your connecting flight to Ushuaia. Reception at Ushuaia airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Tierra del Fuego National Park & Beagle Channel Navigation

Stop At: Tierra del Fuego National Park, Tierra del Fuego National Park, Province of Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia
Visit to Tierra del Fuego National Park, the only National Park in Argentina with coastline on the Beagle Channel. Enjoy Ensenada Bay and Lake Roca as well as a peaceful ride on board of the End of the World Train which uses the original slope which was once used by the train of Ushuaia Prison, now a museum (visit not included). During the journey you will appreciate the cohiues and lengas forests, a small cascade and the reconstruction of an Indian camp.
In the afternoon take a Beagle Channel navigation including the sight of the Les Eclaireurs lighthouse.
Optional tour: Trekking and Canoes with lunch in Tierra del Fuego National Park. For those active travelers, we invite you to explore the landscape of the park with an intense walk and inflatable canoes. Check with us for the additional cost.

Day 3: Fagnano & Escondido Lakes

Stop At: Lago Escondido, Lago Escondido, Province of Tierra del Fuego, Patagonia
Get a deeper insight of Tierra del Fuego by crossing the Andes Mountain Range. Have a chance to reach an inhospitable territory which will give you the notion of the real end of the world. The two lakes, Fagnano and Escondido, are two hidden treasures of Patagonia; far away from everything, these lakes enable total contact with nature.
* Optional tour: we suggest doing this trip in 4x4 vehicles, a more adventurous experience which can be added to your itinerary. Check with us for the additional cost.

Day 4: From Ushuaia to El Calafate. From the Southernmost city to the Glaciers

Pass By: El Calafate, El Calafate, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Transfer from your hotel in Ushuaia to the airport to catch your flight to El Calafate. Reception at El Calafate airport and transfer to your hotel. Located on the southern margin of Lake Argentino in the Andean mountain range, El Calafate is a picturesque village, a haven of peace and vegetation. It is, in addition, an important tourist center since from this point all the glacial circuits begin.

Day 5: Explore one of the most beautiful glaciers in the world: Perito Moreno Glacier

Stop At: Los Glaciares National Park, Los Glaciares National Park, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Visit the astonishing Perito Moreno Glacier. The journey itself is really attractive since you can appreciate the unique Patagonia landscapes alongside the Andes foothills.
The Perito Moreno Glacier is located in Los Glaciares National Park and was declared Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. During this visit walk the footbridges of the Perito Moreno Glacier in order to appreciate its walls. Navigate the Tรฉmpanos Channel to get closer to the glacier and observe its detachments.
* Optional tour: Not to be missed! We suggest adding the Minitrekking on the Glacier. It is an unforgettable experience without precedents and requires no training. Restrictions apply (From August to May / Age: 10 to 65)

Day 6: Navigation and Trekking through Glaciers

Stop At: Los Glaciares National Park, Los Glaciares National Park, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
The Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro glaciers are located within Seno Mayo of Lago Argentino and the only way to access them is by lacustrine route.
Departing from Puerto Argentino, we will sail, enter the Seno Mayo, and disembark at Toro Bay. We will make a walk through the Patagonian Andean Forest and we will go through the forest until we reach a stream, from where we can observe a formation of calcareous rocks.
We will continue navigating the Seno Mayo and observe the hanging glaciers of Cerro Mayo and Cerro Negro. Then, we will disembark and following the path of a stream, we will reach the stonewall from where we will observe the hanging glaciers with 360ยบ panoramic and wonderful views.
Then we will sail towards the north wall of the Perito Moreno Glacier and we will disembark on the floating dock of Puerto Moreno, at the foot of the footbridges. Return to El Calafate.
This tour is available from September to April. The rest of the year, another tour will be suggested.

Day 7: From El Calafate to El Chaltรฉn. From the Glaciers to the National Capital of Trekking

Pass By: El Chalten, El Chalten, Province of Santa Cruz, Patagonia
Transfer by regular bus from El Calafate to El Chaltรฉn, small town born in 1985, located in the middle of the spectacular Andean landscape. Considered National Capital of Trekking, it offers different of tours which can be done by your own. Mounts Fitz Roy and Torre are among the ones which attract mountain climbers from around the world.

Day 8: El Chalten Cerro Torre Trekking

Stop At: Cerro Torre, Southern Patagonian Ice Field, between Argentina and Chile Argentina
Today you will enjoy a full day of trekking to Laguna Torre where we get an impressive view of the massif of Cerro Torre, Adela Cord, Solo Hill and its different glaciers. During this trek we travel through a great diversity of glacial landscapes, forests of รฑires and lengas, as well as several panoramic points. Visit to one of the most famous base camps in Patagonia where some of the most extraordinary stories of the world mountaineering have originated.
Duration: 6-7 hours. Difficulty: Beginner. Requirement: Moderate

Day 9: From El Chaltรฉn back to El Calafate

Day 10: From El Calafate, Argentina to Puerto Natales, Chile. From Glaciers to Torres del Paine.

Transfer by regular bus to Puerto Natales, entrance to Torres del Paine National Park. Reception at Puerto Natales bus terminal and transfer to your hotel.

Day 11: Torres del Paine National Park & Milodon Caves

Stop At: Torres del Paine, Torres del Paine, Magallanes Region
The first stop is the Mylodon Cave, a remarkable cavern located 25 km from Puerto Natales. A half-hour walk takes us into the cave, which was made famous by the discovery of seemingly fresh skin and bones of a prehistoric gigant sloth known as a mylodon. In the same cave the remains of extinct animals were found.
We will make a stop in Cerro Castillo and then continue to Torres del Paine, as we pass several estancias (ranches) and go from a steppe eco-region towards deciduous forest. Along the way we may be able to see some of the local fauna, including many species of birds.
Torres del Paine is world-famous for its granite towers, which give the park its name. These gigantic spires were carved by glacial ice. After entering the park we will come upon a series of lakes with intense colors, mountains covered in ice, and an rray of local fauna. After lunch we continue to Lago Grey, where we will hike to a beach to observe the glacier of the same name. The return of Puerto Natales

Day 12: From Puerto Natales to Puerto Varas. From Torres del Paine to the Chilean Lake region

Transfer from Puerto Natales to Punta Arenas airport by regular bus. Reception in Puerto Montt airport and transfer to your hotel in Puerto Varas.

Day 13: From Puerto Varas, Chile to Bariloche, Argentina; Crossing the Andes Range

Stop At: Peulla, Peulla, Los Lagos Region
A unique crossing, sailing through The Andes Mountains across three beautiful lakes, from Puerto Varas in Chile to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina, exploring the beauty of mountainous landscapes that takes you through the most colorful region of the Patagonia.
Impressive views of the Osorno and Calbuco volcanoes dominate the landscape. We'll visit the Saltos del Petrohuรฉ and appreciate the capricious volcanic rock formations, bathed in the emerald green waterfalls.
We'll navigate across Lake Todos los Santos and arrive Peulla, an ecological lodge and a paradise for nature lovers.
We'll board a bus towards Puerto Frรญas and cross the Andes Mountains. Sailing across Lake Frรญas, we reach Puerto Alegre to take other bus to Puerto Blest.
We'll begin the final sail across Lake Nahuel Huapi, destined for Puerto Paรฑuelo. Upon arrival, we'll take a bus towards Bariloche, a city that attracts visitors in winter and summer.

Day 14: Small Circuito with and Campanario Hill

Stop At: Circuito Chico, San Carlos de Bariloche Argentina
During the tour a guide will tell you the history of our city and giving reference to the names that many of the places of our patagonia receive in the Mapuche language, Mapudungun.
Our first stop is at the Campanario hill, 1050 meters up with an open chairlift to the summit. At the top 360 degrees of panoramic view, between lakes and mountains integrating the landscape from where you can see the mountain range of the Andes mountain range,
Then continue through Bustillo, arriving at the Llao Llao peninsula, a landscape where the Llao Llao Hotel is framed, in a natural setting and the San Eduardo Chapel and Puerto Paรฑuelo. The circuit continues to a panoramic point, with a view of Lake Moreno and the Llao Llao peninsula, then we cross the bridge that connects Moreno East-West.
Along the walk, the view will be lost among forest, lake and mountain range, where Bariloche will be presented with the natural beauty that characterizes the city.

Day 15: Tronador Hill & Black Glacier

Stop At: Cerro Tronador, San Carlos de Bariloche Argentina
A stunning tour among lakes, ancient and hanging glaciers and the unique Black Glacier Tronador is the highest peak in the Nahuel Huapi National Park. This is an invitation to tour around spectacular lakes and vegetation to see the hanging glaciers and snowdrifts that have ornamented Mount Tronador for thousands of years.
After leaving Bariloche we take the National Route 40 South to cross the Pampa de Huenuleo and boarder the Gutierrez lake to cross Pilmayen and Melgarejo streams. After passing through the โ€œwatershedโ€ we will visit the shores of Lake Mascardi to the fork where the road to Tronador (gravel) arises. During this tour we boarder again Mascardi lake on its western coast, facing the Emparedados Mount and the upper Manso River up to Pampa Linda.
Then we cross the valley of Vuriloches and finally, through a shady forest, we arrive to the Black Glacier. The tour ends a little later at the slopes of Cerro Tronador.

Day 16: From Bariloche to Buenos Aires

Pass By: Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Capital Federal District
Pick up at your hotel and transfer to Bariloche Airport.
Flight to Buenos Aires. Arrival at domestic airport and transfer to Ezeiza International Airport. The tour has finally come to an end.
