  • Day 3 Visit A Traditional Karamajong Village

      We visit a traditional Karamajong village, called a Manyatta!

      Then we visit the Karamoja historic museum. In the afternoon, we go to the very end of the Karamoja region, to the town of Kaabong. We are now in one of the most remote places of Uganda! We will sleep in a budget hotel of Kaabong.

      We climb up Mount Morungole to meet the Ik people, one of the smallest ethnic groups of Uganda. The Ik language is a nilo-saharan language! The Ik people used to live in the Kidepo Park before it was

      created. We will hear their story and learn more about their life during the evening we spend with them around the campfire!.

  • Day 5 We Climb Down Mount Morungole And Head To Kidepo
