      Welcome to take our Bhutan private tour with daily departure, which can be tailored to meet your individual interests. You will enjoy a more personalized experience as the trip is only for your private party, with no other people. 


      You will be picked up at the Paro airport and be escorted to your hotel. After the check-in, your guided Paro tour will start at the National Museum. Then you will be taken to Kyichu Lhakhang that houses one of the holiest treasures of Paro Valley: an 8th-century statue of Jowo Jampa, which is also known as the Future Buddha. In the evening, you will head to visit the floodlit Rinpung Dzong and enjoy the romantic sunset from its perch.

      After breakfast, you will be guided to hike to the famous Tigerโ€™s Nest Monastery and savor the breathtaking vistas from the top. Afterwards, you will try your hand at archery, the national sport of Bhutan. In the evening, you will enjoy a relaxing hot-stone bath at your hotel.

      After breakfast, you will be escorted to Punakha via Dochu La, a mountain pass that offers spectacular views of Bhutan Himalayas. At Dochu La, you will be guided to visit Druk Wangyal Lhakhang and 108 chortens built to commemorate fallen soldiers. Upon reaching Punakha, you will visit the majestic Punakha Dzong to admire the beautiful murals.

      Punakha Highlights

      Start your day by receiving special fertility blessings at Chimi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to Saint Drukpa Kunley who made a name for himself by employing unconventional methods for teaching Buddhism. Then, you will hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Temple and enjoy beautiful views of Punakha Valley from there. In the afternoon, you will be escorted to Talo Village and take a walk through the village and surrounding pine and cedar forests. On your way back, you will stop at Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery, famous for its Nepali-style stupa and sensational views of Punakha Valley.

      After breakfast, you will be escorted through Dang Chhu to Phobjikha Valley, which is also known as Gangtey. There you will be guided to visit the famous Gangteng Gompa and Black-necked Crane Information Centre. Later, you will hike through the Gangtey Nature Trail and enjoy the views of the valley from the trail.

      After breakfast, you will be driven to Thimphu and en route,  you will stop at Dochu La to hike to Lungchutse Gompa, a temple dedicated to a local deity Tashi Barwa. In Thimphu, you will be guided to visit Simply Bhutan Museum, a 150-year-old farmhouse renovated and redesigned to depict the traditional Bhutanese way of life. Lastly, your tour today will round off with a visit to majestic Tashichho Dzong, the highlight of Thimphu Valley.

  • Day 8 Thimphu City Tour & Great Buddha Dordenma

      Thimphu City Tour & Great Buddha Dordenma

      After breakfast, you will be accompanied to hike around Kuensel Phrodang Nature Park and visit Great Buddha Dordenma, an enormous statue of Shakyamuni Buddha and the gorgeous temple at its base. Afterwards, you will be taken to Motithang Takin Preserve to see Takin, the oddball national animal of Bhutan. Then you will continue to Memorial Chorten, a major landmark of the city and an important place for daily worship. And also visit the major museums of Thimphu - Postal Museum, National Textile Museum, National Institute of Zorig Chusum, and Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory to learn about the ancient process of papermaking. At the end of the day, you will enjoy a leisurely ramble in the Thimphu market and finally be escorted to your hotel.
