Itinerary of your trip Authentic Normandy: Charming Villages, Traditional Food, And

  • Day 1 Day 1: Paris
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Paris

Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6 p.m. After you’ve comfortably settled into your cabins, we’ll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. We’ll cruise along the Seine to take in enchanting Paris by night (water level permitting). Nothing is more romantic than the French capital at sunset as the buildings and monuments light up one by one. We'll enjoy dinner on board and cruise through the night.

  • Day 2 Day 2: La Roche Guyon
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: La Roche Guyon

We’ll spend the morning cruising the river. This afternoon, join us for an optional excursion: Claude Monet’s home and gardens. Monet designed his garden and the ponds as meticulously as he executed his paintings. We’ll have dinner, and our ship will cruise through the night to Caudebec-en-Caux.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Caudebec-En-Caux
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Caudebec-En-Caux

Optional full-day excursion: The best of the Pays de Caux (lunch included). Our trip will begin with the lovely seaside village of Veules-les-Roses. The village seems suspended in time as the popular vacation spot it was in the 19th century. Victor Hugo was just one of the many artists who fell in love with its unspoiled charm. After, we'll continue on to Dieppe, the first seaside resort in France. The walk along the shoreline is still as beautiful as it was centuries ago. The traditional fishing district is a great place to soak up the resort atmosphere. We’ll also stop in the picturesque village of Saint-Valéry-en-Caux, charming seaside resort.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Caudebec-En-Caux - Honfleur
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 4: Caudebec-En-Caux - Honfleur

Our ship will spend the morning cruising to Honfleur. This afternoon, join us for an optional excursion: Cabourg and the Côte Fleurie. In the 19th century, the Côte Fleurie became a well-known haven for Parisians looking to escape the city for a bit of respite. We'll visit the string of seaside resorts on this tour, including Trouville and Deauville. In Cabourg, the luxurious Grand Hotel overlooking the fine sand beach seems frozen in the belle epoque. Cabourg has seen some of the greatest French stars at its casino, including Edith Piaf, Gilbert Bécaud, and Charles Aznavour. Bask in the atmosphere here while enjoying a bite of famous madeleine cakes.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Honfleur
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 5: Honfleur

This morning, the optional excursion proposed is: Honfleur. With its picturesque streets and lovely harbor lined with cafés and restaurants, Honfleur feels like a romantic painting come to life.  We’ll stroll through the older sections of the town to see the impressive salt warehouses and Saint Catherine’s Church, the largest wooden church in France. This afternoon, join us for an optional excursion: Discover Normandy’s cheese and apple products. The Pays d’Auge represents all the wonders Normandy has to offer in sights and tastes. We’ll cross the beautiful countryside and stop at a local cheesemaker in Livarot to taste the four regional cheeses they make: Pont-l’Évêque, Livarot, Neufchâtel, and Camembert. Spend some free time on your own at our last stop in the beautiful village of  Beuvron-en-Auge.OR set out on an optional, full-day excursion: The Landing Beaches. The landings in Normandy were a profound moment in history for Europe and its allies. On this tour, you will see Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery in Coleville-sur-Mer, Gold Beach, Juno Beach, and Sword Beach. The visit will continue at the Arromanches 360 Circular Cinema,  an experience that plunges spectators into 100 days of the European war as filmed by on-the-ground war correspondents at the time. Our ship will cruise to Rouen overnight.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Rouen
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 6: Rouen

This morning, the optional excursion proposed is: Medieval Rouen and the Ossuary of Saint-Maclou. One of the oddest, but history-packed sites to visit in Rouan is the Ossuary of Saint-Maclou. This tour will bring you back to the harrowing times of the plague and the destruction it caused across Europe.  What we consider a beautiful, fascinating structure today was originally built to be a site for communal graves. We’ll also stroll through the medieval section of the city to take in the rich historical past as seen in its half-timbered homes and former draper shops. We’ll spend the afternoon cruising. Tonight is our festive gala evening.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Paris

      Day 7: Paris
