WALKING TOUR FROM RESTAURADORES AND ALFAMA (2HRS 30MIN)(30 EUR) Walking tour starting at the Plaza Restauradores, we walk in the direction of the heart of the city of Lisbon, Rossio, where we will discover the charms of the Baixa Pombalina, rebuilt after the great earthquake of 1755. We will see the Santa justa elevator, one of the ex-libris of Lisbon and the energetic Augusta street. Next, we start to approach Lisbon´s oldest hill, its first settlement, Alfama Hill, home to Phoenicians, Romans, Muslims and Christian kings. As we start to climb, we will see the church of St. Anthony, where this Portuguese saint was born, and Lisbon Cathedral, its oldest church dating back to the 12th century, always with the yellow trams as our companions, always going up and down the traditional hill. We continue climbing until we reach one of the most incredible viewpoints of the city, the viewpoint of the Sun Gates, where you can see the typical Portuguese rooftops and the Tagus River. After walking through the old narrow streets and corners of Alishubuna, we will get to know the humble and traditional neighbourhood of Alfama, considered the true soul of Lisbon. From the orange trees, small houses, old Jewish quarter, fountains and decoration, we will discover the true beauty of Lisbon. Today we’ll journey to the south of France through vineyards, arriving in Bordeaux, whose town center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll have time for lunch and to explore. We suggest visiting the Port of the Moon and the Cathedral of St. Andrew. We’ll then continue towards the Pyrenees, reaching Lourdes in the late afternoon. Here, you can attend the candlelight procession (held from late March to the end of October) and visit various places of worship. Dinner will be included at the hotel for all our passengers.

Today, we’ll explore the enchanting region of Provence. Our first stop will be Aix-en-Provence, the birthplace of the painter Paul Cézanne. You’ll have time to wander through its beautiful historic center, with its charming narrow streets, fountains, and picturesque squares. Next, we’ll visit Avignon, where you can take a leisurely walk and enjoy lunch in this walled city on the banks of the Rhône. Once the seat of the Catholic popes, Avignon was known as the "second Rome" until it became part of France in 1791. The immense Palace of the Popes stands as a reminder of its grand history. We’ll then visit the Pont du Gard, where admission is included to this awe-inspiring Roman aqueduct, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of the most famous and best-preserved Roman monuments in the world. Our journey will conclude as we head toward Catalonia, arriving in Barcelona in the evening.

At approximately 04:30 p.m., we’ll continue our journey to Madrid, but not before making a brief stop at the avant-garde City of Arts and Sciences of Valencia. We will depart from Madrid early in the morning, heading south through La Mancha. Our first stop will be in Puerto Lápice, a charming Manchego village evocative of Don Quixote. We will then continue into Andalusia via Despeñaperros, arriving in Granada, where lunch will be included. In the afternoon, if you have chosen the option that includes a visit to the Alhambra, we will explore the magnificent Alhambra Palace and its beautiful Generalife Gardens, both built during the Arab period, with a local guide.VERY IMPORTANT NOTE: The number of visitors allowed into the Alhambra is strictly regulated by law. To ensure your admission, tickets will be issued upon confirming your tour reservation. It´s essential to provide accurate personal details (full name and passport/ID number) at the time of booking. In the afternoon, we´ll continue our journey through the mountains listening to stories of bandits before reaching Ronda, a picturesque white town known for its cliffside location and a deep canyon that divides the town. Finally, Seville. We’ll arrive in the evening.
