      Upon arrival at Palermo Airport be greeted by your private driver, who will bring you to your charming hotel located in the heart of Castellamare del Golfo. After some relaxation enjoy some free time. Perhaps take a stroll in the old town and see the harbour, or go swimming off the picturesque beaches. Donโ€™t forget to try โ€œcassatellaโ€ in bar La Sorgente, itโ€™s the typical pastry of Western Sicily and is not to be missed!

      Day 2: Trip To Segesta With Lunch In Countryside

      In the morning, meet your local guide in the lobby of your hotel and start a 25-minute drive to reach one of the most important archeological sites in Italy. Lost in the middle of countryside and perched on a hilltop, the Segesta Archaeological Park is home to spectacular ancient ruins dating from Greek Empire. Admire the main temple, one of the best-preserved examples of Doric architecture in the world, built in the fifth century BC, and the fourth-century-BC Greek theater. Discover the historical and architectural context of these impressive ruins with your expert guide and continue to enjoy your trip heading to a panoramic farmhouse-restaurant. Served on the beautiful terrace, Your lunch will include a wide range of typical Sicilian appetizers, seasonal pasta and wines cultivated in Western Sicily. After lunch, you will be dropped back off at your hotel and spend the rest of the day according to your wish, relaxing on picturesque beaches or hanging out on your own.

      On your third day, you will have a breathtaking guided tour of the coast, firstly heading to Zingaro Nature Reserve. Established as a nature reserve in 1981, the Zingaro is Sicilyโ€™s first protected area. In the past, it was home to small farming villages as well as smugglers and traffickers who used its many caves to store their goods. Today you will admire superb panoramic views over the sea, coves and small museums of the reserve, and embarking on an easy hike with your local guide.


      After your walk in the reserve, continue your tour with a 10-minute drive to reach the small village of Scopello. On your way you will admire a beautiful view of antique Tonnara di Scopello and see the famous rocks - Faraglioni di Scopello. After an optional swim on this paradise beach, youโ€™ll keep heading towards the heart of the village, where your seafood lunch will be served on the terrace overlooking the sea. After lunch, weโ€™ll drop you back to your hotel where you will have a free evening in charming Castellamare del Golfo.

      It is time to say goodbye to Castellamare del Golfo and continue your trip towards enchanting Trapani. After 45-minutes of driving, you will have a stop in the perched medieval village of Erice. Enjoy a 2-hour guided walking tour and admire the famous castle hanging on the cliff, pretty cobblestones streets, its charming history and beautiful views of the sea coast. Delight in a light lunch in a local family trattoria.


      After lunch continue driving for 25-minutes to your next destination โ€“ Trapani.  After check-in and some relaxation in your charming hotel, take an evening stroll with your local guide through Trapaniโ€™s historic centre, with its many quaint streets such as Via Garibaldi and Corso Italia. Your tour will finish in the heart of Trapani, so after you can still enjoy the town at night and dinner where you please.

      Day 5: Trip To Marsala, Salt Pants And Lunch In Donna Fugata Winery

      On this day meet your local guide in the lobby and enjoy a half-day trip to Marsala and the famous Sicilian Winery. On your way enjoy the salt road, the view of the salt piles and old windmills (used to grind the salt) reflected in the water is simply magnificent. The salt being processed here is nowadays considered a luxury product mainly used for fine cuisine. You can buy some during the stop if you would like.


      After discovering the salt pants, you will reach Marsala in about 15 minutes, where your local guide will take you on the tour of the old town to visit must-see attractions such as The Baroque Cathedral, The Republic Square, The Palace April VII, The Saint Josephโ€™s Church and other monuments. During the tour donโ€™t forget to try Marsala, the famous sweet wine with name of town. 


      After your tour continue 10 minutes driving to historical Sicilian Winery Donna Fugata to enjoy your the guided visit of their cellars, lunch and wine tasting of course! Drop off back to your hotel in Trapani and enjoy a free evening.
