Your tour will start with a trip to the magnificent Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque which is one of the largest mosques found in the Middle East. Afterward, you will be visiting to Bait Al Zubair Museum which is located in the heart of Muscat, Oman’s historic capital city. You’ll have great photo taking the opportunity at the abode of his Majesty Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Al Alam Palace, which is bordered by the sixteenth-century Portuguese citadels Mirani & Jalali. In the evening you’ll be ambling through Muttrah Souq, where you’ll be haggling for handicrafts & silver items.

Your tour guide will meet you at your hotel at 8:30, and from there, you’ll travel to Quriyat, a charming town located on the east coast, set against the backdrop of the Eastern Hajar Mountains and a sandy plain. Your first destination is Wadi Arbayeen, a fascinating wadi just 90 minutes from Muscat. This wadi offers an auditory delight with the sounds of running water, birds, and the wind flowing through its narrow channels.

Nearby, you’ll visit the Bimah Sinkhole, known for its crystal-clear water. Continuing along the coastline, you’ll stop at Fins Beach, famous for its “White Beach” tucked beneath cliffs and surrounded by sandy shores and turquoise sea. The tour then proceeds through the picturesque seaside village of Tiwi before entering Wadi Tiwi, where you can admire its blue-green pools nestled among palm trees.

Next, you’ll visit Qalhat, one of Oman’s oldest towns and seaports. The final stop is in Sur, renowned for its trading history and traditional dhow-building yard. Your first stop is the Al Baleed Museum of the Frankincense Land, open from 8:00-14:00 and 16:00-20:00 (Sat-Wed) and 16:00-20:00 (Thu-Fri). The museum offers an impressive collection showcasing Oman’s archaeological and maritime history. Next, you’ll explore the Heritage Souk, where you can discover a variety of Omani crafts and incense burners. Continue to the new souk for a view of the vibrant Arabian market and then head to the Gold Souk to admire both modern and traditional Dhofari jewelry. A visit to Haffah Souk will captivate you with its array of tiny shops, featuring colorful perfume boxes, intricately decorated clay perfume burners, and bags of incense crystals. Along the way, you’ll also see traditional Dhofari homes with distinctive caravan doors and windows.

Next, continue to the ancient ruins of Sumharam, once a vital harbor on the Dhofar coast and a major trading city for frankincense. On your return to western Salalah, discover the lush Wadi Darbat. Enjoy a refreshing walk along the Wadi bed, where you might encounter herds of cattle, goats, and camels. Continue to the Qara Mountains to explore the western part of Salalah, where the rugged terrain and picturesque views showcase typical Dhofari rural beauty.

Proceed to Mughsail Beach, renowned for its natural blowholes where waves erupt through rocky formations.
