  • Day 1 Arrival In Osaka

      Upon arrival, please use the "direction to hotel" we sent you to proceed to the hotel. The hotel we use is usually just one station away from the airport by train.

  • Day 2 Osaka - Nara - Osaka
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Osaka - Nara - Osaka

      This morning, you will drive to the nearby city of Nara and enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour.

      Visit Nara Park and enjoy time to explore Todaiji Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage site which was constructed over 1200 years ago as the head of all provincial Buddhist temples in Japan. The main hall houses one of the largest statues of Buddha, which is 15m tall. Nara Park is also home to hundreds of free-roaming deer - you can feed them deer senbei (crackers), which can be purchased at stalls throughout the park for 150 yen a pack. If you bow to the deer with the deer senbei in hand, they will bow back to you.

      Afterward, continue onwards to Kasuga Taisha, Naraโ€™s most celebrated shrine. It was established at the same time as the capital and is dedicated to the deity responsible for the protection of the city. Kasuga Taisha was also the tutelary shrine of the Fujiwara, Japanโ€™s most powerful family clan during most of the Nara and Heian Periods.

      In the afternoon, travel back to Osaka, check into the new hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.

      Today, enjoy a free day to explore Osaka at your own pace.

      Alternatively, take part in an optional tour to Hiroshima on Japanโ€™s famous Shinkansen bullet train , known in English as a bullet train.

      8:30: Picked up at the hotel and transfer to Shin-Osaka Station with your tour guide.

      10:30: Arrive at Hiroshima Station

      11:30-13:30: Visit Itsukushima Shrine and Miyajima Island

      16:30-18:00: Peace memorial park

      Return to the train station for the exhilarating return journey to Osaka on the bullet train, where the tour concludes.

  • Day 5 Gifu โ€“ Takayama โ€“ Matsumoto/Suwa

      This morning you will visit the historic villages of Shirakawa-Go, UNESCO World Heritage sites. Located in a mountainous region that was cut off from therest of the world for a long period of time, these villages, with their Gassho-style houses, survived on the cultivation of mulberry trees and the rearing of silkworms. Enjoy a walk among the incredible houses.

      Afterwards travel to Takayama Jinya, a former government outpost established to bring the Hida Province under the control of the Edo Bakufu.

      Next, travel to the hotel in Matsumoto or Suwa Area.

  • Day 6 Matsumoto/Suwa- Mt Fuji - Tokyo

      After breakfast, drive to Mt Fujiโ€™s 5th Station. Located 2300m above sea level, it offers a vantage point for Mt Fuji and the surrounding lakes (weather permitting). The 5th Station also features shrines, torii gates, and souvenir shops.

      Afterwards continue onwards to Lake Kawaguchi to admire the scenery as you enjoy a short cruise across the lake. The waters are overlooked by surrounding mountains, including Mt Fuji.

      Then transfer to Tokyo and the last stop is Nakamise shopping street, a brightly colored thoroughfare of food vendors and souvenir stores that leads to Asakusa Kannon Temple(Senso-Ji), one of the Japanโ€™s most important Buddhist sites
