Day 1: arrive muscat

Stop At: Muscat, Muscat, Muscat Governorate
Pick up at the General arrival lounge by our friendly & efficient chauffer who will drive you to the hotel where you will have the overnight stay.

Day 2: half-day city tour of muscat

Stop At: Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Sultan Qaboos St, Muscat 113 Oman
The tour begins in the morning with a visit to one of the largest mosques in the Middle East the beautiful Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque. Then visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum, a private collection exhibiting the wealth ofomanโ€™s history,where the visitors get knowledge about the countryโ€™s rich culture and traditions. Later you will be allowed to click photos at the residence of his Majesty Sultan Qaboos, the Al Alam Palace, which is adorned by the 16th century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. And then, drive along the picturesque Corniche to the once walled district Muscat. You will then be taken to the shoppinzones strolling through muttrahsouq, where you can get precious handicrafts and silver items and many more, before returning to the hotel.

Day 3: full day excursion to batinah region

Stop At: Al Batinah Governorate, Al Batinah Governorate
Morning we will drive to Nakhal, en route visit Seeb fish market and Fanja farms. You reach Nakhal which has a 350 years old magnificent fort and is dramatically located at the top of rock mountain cliff. The area is surrounded with dates plantations. The narrow road through the town winds up to the Hot Springs, which is a popular picnic, spot. After spending some time at Nakhal we will continue for Rustaq (about 55 kms Southwest of Nakhal), once the capital of this area and always a major trading center of Oman, Later we will drive back to Muscat via Al Hazam (Only Photo stop, Closed for renovations).

Day 4: nizwa fort-al hamra-misfah-bahla-jabreen

Stop At: Nizwa Fort Oman, Nizwa Oman
Visit the historic town of Nizwa, Omanโ€™s cultural capital, and then go to see the powerful Fort with its massive Circular Cannon Tower, one of the most impressive forts in Oman and the traditional Souq. Then we drive to Al Hamra to see one of the oldest villages of this region, where you will find the traditional mud houses dated back from 400 years. Thefalaj system used in this village one of the oldest of this kind (UNESCO site). Post lunch with Omani Family we will move to Bahla, one of the oldest small towns of Oman and in the 12th century the capital of the tribe living in the region. Bahla is also famous for its pottery. Then you proceed to Jabrin castle built in 17th century is one of the finest of its kind. Its magnificent plasterwork, the carved doors and the painted wooden beams of the ceilings makes this castle amazingly different and a must visit place
then we move back to the hotel

Day 5: departure transfer
