      After lunch, we went to the Tibetan district of Kathmandu to see the stupa of Boudhanath and the Buddhist temples, one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal. The Boudha Stupa one of the largest stupas in the world.

      Today early morning before breakfast proceed for Chitwan National Park to enjoy canoeing ride on the Rapti River where you may see crocodile (Ghadiyal) and visit Elephant breeding centre. Later drive back to your hotel and enjoy your breakfast and refresh yourself for your afternoon safari.

       

      After lunch proceed for another wildlife safari. Enjoy your ride on an elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife. You will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and elusive Royal Bengal tiger. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter. Also you can take some amazing wildlife pictures.

      Today morning after breakfast enjoy the spectacular walk to the iconic 300-year-old Tigerโ€™s Nest Monastery, where it is believed Guru Padmasambava landed on the back of a tiger in the 8th century. The return walk takes about 5 hours. Later continue your visit Ta Dzong, originally built as Watchtower, which now houses National Museum. Its extensive collection includes antique thangkha paintings, textiles, weapons & armour, household objects and a rich assortment of natural and historic artifacts. Also followed by a short walk to visit Rinpung Dzong (Paro Dzong), meaning (โ€˜fortress of the heap of jewelsโ€™). Along the wooden galleries lining the inner courtyard are fine wall paintings illustrating Buddhist lore such as four friends, the old man of long life, the wheel of life, scenes from the life of Milarepa, Mount. Sumeru and other cosmic Mandala. In the evening time you can take a stroll around Paro main street, visiting shops & local market.
