On arrival at the New Delhi airport, Alkof Holidays representative will meet you and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore the city’s bustling streets or wander its wide tree-lined boulevards to get your first taste of India. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed for a full-day sightseeing of Delhi. The National Capital of India, Delhi has been in existence since the 6th century BC. Start your sightseeing from the Rajghat, the memorial where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated in 1948. Later, visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, commissioned by Emperor Shah Jahan. Later, enjoy a rickshaw ride in Chandni Chowk, the busiest market in Old Delhi. Afterwards, drive past President House, and India Gate in Edwin Lutyen’s Delhi. Thereafter, visit Humayun’s Tomb, built in 1562, commissioned by Humayun’s wife Hamida Banu Begum. Later in the evening visit the Qutab Minar, the tallest brick minaret in the world, commissioned by Qutbuddin Aibak. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Early in the morning, our representative will transfer you to New Delhi airport to board a flight to Bagdogra. On arrival at Bagdogra airport, our local representative will welcome you and transfer you to Darjeeling - nestled among rolling mountains of the Himalayas, famous for its Darjeeling Himalayan Railways and beautiful tea estates. Upon arrival at Darjeeling, check-in at the hotel. Relax at the hotel, later proceed for a guided tour of Darjeeling, visit Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park & Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), Tenzing & Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (closed on Sunday) & Tea Estate. Later, in the evening get back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Early in the morning before breakfast, visit Tiger Hills located at an altitude of 8364 ft from sea level, to enjoy the view of sunrise fetching over Kanchenjunga Peak (subject to clear weather). Later on the way back, en-route Ghoom Monastery, and Batasia Loop. After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Glenburn Tea Estate for 3 nights stay. Started by a Scottish tea company in 1859, Glenburn then passed into the hands of one of India’s pioneering tea planting families - The Prakashes, One of India’s pioneering tea-planting families. Glenburn, a heavenly little plantation retreat that lies on a hillock above the banks of the River Rungeet, high in the Himalayas, overlooked by the mighty Kanchenjunga mountain range. At Glenburn Tea Estate, take a leisurely walk through the tea fields. Enjoy tea tasting on the terraced tea gardens of Glenburn Tea Estate. Take a tour of the tea factory and watch freshly plucked tea leaves processed into tea. Enjoy lunch on the banks of river Rung Dung. Overnight stay at the resort.
