      Upon your arrival, our representative will warmly greet you at either the Chennai Airport or Railway Station and accompany you to your hotel. Following a brief moment to unwind, your journey into the sights and sounds of Chennai begins. Youโ€™ll embark on a sightseeing adventure that includes visits to the captivating Kapaleeshwar Temple, the sprawling Marina Beach, the historic Santhome Cathedral, and the fascinating National Art Gallery.   • Day 2 Day 2: Kanchipuram To Mahabalipuram

      Day 2: Kanchipuram To Mahabalipuram

      Today we will leave for Mamallapuram, earlier known as Mahabalipuram. En-route we will visit Kanchipuram, known as the city of thousand temples. It is one of the seven sacred cities of Hindus, and was the capital of the early Cholas as far back as the 2nd century BC. Kanchipuram was a major seat of Tamil learning as well as an important place of pilgrimage for Buddhists, Jains and Hindus. Apart from temples, the city is also famous for its silk weavers, who settled here some 400 years ago and have given it an enviable reputation. Later continue drive to Mamallapuram. Upon arrival check into the hotel. After fresh-n-up we will proceed sightseeing around Mamallapuram, the ancient port of Pallavas. The pallavas have created many marvellous monuments with sculptural panels, caves, Monolithic Rathas and Temples. Krishna Mandapam has a big bas relief, notable for its realistic representation. The worldโ€™s largest bas relief measuring 27m x 9m, whale back shaped rock contains figures of gods, demi-gods, men beasts, birds and representation of the entire creation. Shore Temple, one of the oldest in south dating back to 8th century AD is a good example of the first phase of structural temples constructed in Dravidian style. The Five Rathas are a group of five monolithic temples, each created in different style.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Pondaycherry

      Day 3: Pondaycherry

       You will check in the hotel in Pondicherry and rest for the night. In the morning, after breakfast proceed for sightseeing in Pondicherry. Pondicherry is french colony ever since the times of 7th and 8th century. Being that, this place has a rich history as a French colony you can still find the traces of this French culture in the city. The place is beautiful in itself; you will be taken to Arikamedu, Shri Aurobindo Ashram, Pondicherry Beach, Botanical Garden and also Bharati Park. The following night will be spent in Pondicherry.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Thanjavur - Tiruchirappalli (Tichy)

      ยญAfter the breakfast, you will check out from the hotel in Pondicherry and then proceed for Tanjore which a four-hour drive is. When you will reach Tanjore,  you will proceed for sightseeing. You will be seeing Brihadeeshwara Temple, Art Gallery, The Palace, and also Saraswati Mahal Library . after you will drive and proceed for Tiruchirappalli. It is a One hour and fifteen minutes drive from Tanjore 60km away. After checking into the hotel in Tiruchirappalli, you will proceed for sightseeing, you will be taken to Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple, Jambukeswarar-Akilandeswari Temple,. You can also opt for rummaging through the local markets of Trichy. The rest of the night will be spent here.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Madurai

      Morning after breakfast temple tour of the sacred city of Madurai. It is situated on the bank of river Vaigai and has been the kingdom of Pandya kings in the past century. The place has a great cultural heritage and strong mythological history to be passed on to the next coming generations. The place is more than 2500 years old and the commercial center was developed in 550 AD. The city is constructed in the form of a lotus and is known as lotus city too. There is a beautiful temple constructed by the Pandyan kings and Lord Shiva is worshiped here. It was believed that divine nectar was showered at that place and due to it the Jasmine flowers bloom in the place all around. Meenakshi temple: Also known as Meenakshi Amman Temple is an ancient and one amongst the most important temples of India. Meenakshi Sundareswarar Temple is dedicated to Sundareswar (form of Lord Shiva) and Meenakshi (form of Goddess Parvati). The term "Sundareswar" suggests "the beautiful lord" and "Meenakshi" means "the fish-eyed goddess". As per the Hindu folklore, Madurai is the same city where Lord Sundareswar (Shiva) appeared to marry Goddess Meenakshi (Parvati). Meenakshi Temple is regarded as one of the most sacred places of Parvati, 

      In the evening witness the Prayer Ceremony at the Meenakshi Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

Pattadakal, the second capital of Chalukyas is also the place where all coronations took place and still has a number of beautiful temples. Overnight at hotel.
