      Morning after breakfast  proceed for full day sightseeing of Old & New Delhi -

      Red Fort - The foundation of the Red Fort, so named after its red stone, was laid in 1618 when the Mughal Emperor, Shah Jahan, shifted to Delhi after ruling from Agra for 11 years. Rich silk from China and velvet from Turkey were used to drape the main halls of the palace when it was inaugurated in 1647. 

      Jama Mosque - Built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1650, more than 5,000 men worked for six years to complete this largest mosque in India.

      India Gate - India Gate is the pride of Delhi. An imposing structure, the gate was built in memory to the of the 90,000 Indian soldiers who laid down their lives during World War I. Situated at the at the end of Rajpath,

      President House - The official residence of the President of India - is one of the largest buildings of its kind in the world. This structure of red and cream sandstone which was designed to be the home of the Viceroys of India, took eight years - 1921-1929. (Drive Pass Only)

      Parliament house is a cirular colonnaded building . It also houses ministerial offices,numerous committee rooms and an excellent library as well. Conceived in the Imperial Style, the Parliament House consists of an open verandah with 144 columns. (Drive Pass Only)

      Humayun Tomb - This was built by the emperorโ€™s grieving widow, Haji Begum, in 1565 AD. Made with red sandstone it marks the beginning of a new ornate architectural style that reached its peak in the Taj Mahal of Agra. 

      Qutub Minar - The construction of the Qutab Minar was started by Qutab-ud-din Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi in 1200 AD. He could finish only the basement and later his successor, Iltutmish, added three more storeys. The fifth and final storey was constructed by Firoz Shah Tughlak in 1368.

      Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal, which is one manโ€™s monumental testimony to love, has become synonymous not only with this city but with all of India. A mausoleum built by Shah Jahan for his empress Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj is the primary attraction of the city. The construction is believed to have taken 18 years (1631-1648) with over 20,000 artisans working around the clock.

      Agra Fort, designed and built by Akbar in 1565 A.D., built with barricaded wall of red sand stone; it houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and numerous palaces including the Jahangir Mahal, Diwan-i-Khas, Diwan-i-Am, Macchhi Bhawan, Nagina Masjid, Meena Bazar, Moti Masjid, Sheesh Mahal, Musamman Burj where from Taj Mahal is visible in all its beauty from one side of the fort. So very ironically, Emperor Sahahjahan, prisoner of his son Aurangzeb in his old age was put in a cell from where he could gaze at the Taj Mahal at a distance, from his cell in the fort.

      Morning after breakfast check out from hoteland drive to Jaipur (240 Kms / 5 -6 hrs). En route you will visit Fatehpur Sikri. It was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 years due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including Jama Masjid, Tomb of Salim Chishti, Panch Mahal and other palaces. On arrival Jaipur, check in to the hotel. Overnight stay in hotel.

      After breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing of Jaipur -

      Amber Fort, the former capital of the royal Rajputs.  Few fail to be moved by the dramatic Rajput grandeur of this hilltop fortress-palace 11-km north of Jaipur. Set on the dry wrinkled Aravali Hills, and surrounded by fortified battlements, the palace straddles two sepia-hued tundra hills overlooking Maota Lake, and its sprawling crenellated walls lattice the surrounding hills. Ride up to this hilltop palace on a caparisoned, painted elephant, passing through the ancient main gate where Maharajas of Jaipur have entered for four hundred years. You will enjoy Photo Grapy in front of โ€œJal Mahal Palaceโ€. 

      Afternoon visit Jaipur City: Hawa Mahal or Palace of the Winds, a  five-storied structure of pink sandstone with semi-octagonal and delicately honeycombed windows overlooking the main street of the old city. It was built in 1799 so that veiled royal woman could peer down unseen by the world through its 593 stone screens. Later proceed for tour of the City Palace & Observatory. The City Palace in the heart of the old city is a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. The center of the palace is a seven storied building called Chandra Palace, with fine views over the gardens and the city.

      Next top the City Palace is the Solar Observatory Jantar Mantar - an astronomical treasure house, with solar device that gives accurate predictions till date.

      Morning after breakfast drive for Pushkar (150 Kms). Pushkar is one of the most ancient cities in India. Pushkar is home to one of the few Brahma temples in the world. Pushkar is also known as โ€˜the rose garden of Rajasthanโ€™ because the flower is grown extensively in and around the town and exported worldwide. 

      On arrival check in hotel. Later visit  -

      Pushkar Lake - A sacred lake of the Hindus, Pushkar Lake is of the five most sacred pilgrimage destinations for the Hindus in India. It is believed that when the lotus petals fell from the hands of the Hindu God of Creation, Lord Brahma, the Pushkar Lake was created. The Pushkar Lake is semi-circular in shape and about 8-10 meters deep. With 52 bathing ghats and over 400 temples around the lake precincts, this sacred lake is thronged by thousands of devotees visiting this town during the Pushkar Fair, held in the months of October-November.

      Brahma Temple - a Hindu temple situated at Pushkar  close to the sacred Pushkar Lake to which its legend has an indelible link. The temple is one of very few existing temples dedicated to the Hindu creator-god Brahma in India and remains the most prominent among them.

      Udaipur is a beautiful city, set amidst the Aravalli Ranges of Rajasthan, India. Known for its picturesque lakes, Udaipur also called โ€™the city of lakesโ€™. The elevated hills and the beautiful lakes make a picture-perfect backdrop to the Udaipur city. Udaipur is regarded as one of the most romantic cities of the World and subsequently, also known as the โ€™Venice of Eastโ€™. In context of Rajasthan, Udaipur is the second most-sought after tourist destination of the state, the first being Jaipur. Udaipur had been the capital of Mewar for centuries.

      City Palace - Udaipur City Palace is one of the architectural marvels of Rajasthan, located peacefully on the banks of Lake Pichola. This majestic City Palace is the most-visited tourist attraction of Udaipur and often distinguished as the largest palace complex in Rajasthan. 

      Pichola Lake - one of the most beautiful and picturesque lakes of Rajasthan, India. Located in the heart of the city, Pichola Lake is the oldest and one of the largest lakes of Udaipur. In 1362, the beautiful lake was built by Pichhu Banjara during the ruling period of Maharana Lakha.

      Jagdish Temple -  famous temples of Udaipur. Located in the City Palace complex of Udaipur, this temple is made in the Indo-Aryan style of architecture. In 1651, Jagdish temple was built by Maharana Jagat Singh, who ruled Udaipur during 1628-53. The temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Laxmi Narayan), the preserver of the Universe. 

      Sahalion Ki Bari - The Garden of the Maids of Honour was designed as a peaceful retreat outside the old city of Udaipur. The garden is said to have been made for the 48 girls Maharana Sangram Singh II (1710-1734) received as part of his dowry.  It lies in northern part of the city and has fountains and kiosks, a lotus pool and marble elephants.

      Jodhpur "The Sun City" was founded by Rao Jodha, a chief of the Rathore clan, in 1459. It is named after him only. The city is known as the "Sun City" because of its bright and sunny weather throughout the year. Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India was previously known as Marwar. Jodhpur is the second largest city in Rajasthan. It is divided into two parts - the old city and the new city. The old city is separated by a10 km long wall surrounding it. Also it has eight Gates leading out of it. The new city is outside the walled city. 

      Jodhpur is a very popular tourist destination. The landscape is scenic and mesmerizing. Jodhpur city has many beautiful palaces and forts such as Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada, Umaid Bhawan.

      Mehrangarh Fort - Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur is one of the largest forts in forts. It is also the most magnificent fort in Jodhpur, infact, in the whole Rajasthan. The fort is amongst the popular tourist places in India. It is situated on a 150 m high hill. It was founded by Rao Jodha in 1459. Seven gates have to be crossed to reach the fort. The gates still bear the marks of the various battles fought in the bygone era.

      Jaswant Thada - left of the Mehrangarh Fort complex is the Jaswant Thada of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It is a 19th century royal cenotaph built in commemoration of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, the 33rd Rathore ruler of Jodhpur. The son of Maharaja Jaswant Singh, Maharaja Sardar Singh, in the memory of his father, built the Jaswant Thada. The cenotaph has two more tombs within it. Near to this are the royal crematorium and three other cenotaphs.

The highlights of the city are stunning Jain temples inside the Sonar Quila, the palace museum inside this fort exhibiting a rich collection of imperial dresses and artifacts belonging to the royal family of Jaisalmer, Havelis with convoluted designs and latticed windows such as Patwaon-ki-haveli and the Gadisar Lake, which seems beautiful at sunset.

      Bikaner is a fascinating destination in Rajasthan enriched by its rippling sands and abundant sunshine. The city boasts of a 16th century fort which houses old palaces, temples and mosque. The attractions in the city include Junagarh Fort was constructed in the year 1593 by Raja Rai Singh. It is believed that crocodiles were bred in the water moat surrounding the formidable fort. 

      Lalgarh Palace One of the most impressive palaces constructed during the last half of the nineteenth century, the Lalgarh Place defies the bleak and rugged reality of the harsh Thar Desert around Bikaner.

      Gajner Palace located on the banks of a lake. Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji constructed the palace. The royal family used the palace to retreat after hunting. The red sandstone construction is a glowing example of stunning architecture. The palace is situated in the thick of forest and you could view migratory birds flock in great numbers.

      Camel Breeding Farm popularly known as Government Camel Breeding Farm, is one of the largest camel breeding farms of Asia. It is sSituated in Jorbeer at a distance of 8 kilometres km from the city centre., breeding farm was founded in 1984 by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research. 

      Deshmoke Rat Temple The temple is famous for the approximately 20,000 black rats that live, and are revered in, the temple. These holy rats are called kabbas, and many people travel great distances to pay their respects. The temple draws visitors from across the country for blessings, as well as curious tourists from around the world.
