We use a good standard of comfortable locally owned hotels which are usually around 3 stars. All rooms are deluxe and air conditioned unless otherwise stated. Many of the hotels have pools and all are in a great location to allow easy access to the sights we will be visiting and any available activities.

Transport

Transport by road is by air conditioned bus or car depending on group size. When travelling in towns we will sometimes use local taxis, tuk tuks and rickshaws. This is all part of the experience of travelling in Asia as well as helping further support the local economy.

Meals

Breakfast is included in all hotels. Lunches and dinners will often be arranged by the local Tour guide to allow the group to dine together at local restaurants. There are also a wide selection of snacks available in Asia at very low prices. You should allow at least $20 - $25 per day for meals that are not included. On this trip we stay one night on a houseboat where all meals are included. On the last night we provide a final group dinner to celebrate another fantastic trip.

Hygieneprotocol

Handwashing is one of the most important safety measures to prevent the spread of disease.  We will actively reinforce its importance by: Implementing a handwashing policy that dictates when, how often, and for how long all staff, leaders, and crew must wash their hands on-trip.  Promote the importance of hand hygiene to customers through signage and online customer material.  Contract suppliers that have hand hygiene protocols in place Contract suppliers that provide hand sanitizer in public places (where applicable) Educate staff, leaders, crew and suppliers on the importance of hand hygiene via training.

Pickup on arrival at airport or any location in Delhi thenVisit the magnificent mosque of Jama Masjid, built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656. Move on to New Delhi to see India Gate, Parliament House and the official residence of the president at Rashtrapati Bhavan. Depart for Agra in the evening.
