  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival At New Delhi

      Day 1: Arrival At New Delhi

      Welcome to the beautiful chaos of Delhi! After arriving on your morning flight, jump-in right into the hustle and bustle of the capital of India and its second-most populous city. Considered as one of the oldest existing cities in the world, Delhiโ€™s importance lies not just in its past glory as of the seat of empires and magnificent monuments, but also in the rich and diverse cultures.

      A private car with a driver will pick you up from the Delhi Airport and transfer you to the hotel. Check-in at the hotel and relax. Head out for the driver past the Rashtrapati Bhavan (the residence of President of India), and visit India Gate (a memorial to 82,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who died in the period 1914โ€“21 in the First World War). Overnight stay will be at hotel in Delhi.

      After breakfast, start your day of sightseeing in Delhi. Stop off at the UNESCO World Heritage site, Humayunโ€™s Tomb. Built in 1570, it is of particular cultural significance as it was the first garden-tomb on the Indian subcontinent. Then visit the magnificent Jama Masjid, (the largest mosque in India built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1644 and 1656) & Red Fort. After that visit the bustling Chandni Chowk โ€“ one of the oldest and busiest markets in Old Delhi. Enjoy a rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk.

      Have lunch at a nice restaurant. Later visit the towering Qutub Minar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), a 73-metre (239.5 feet) tall tapering tower of five storeys. Qutb ud Din Aibak, founder of the Delhi Sultanate, started construction of the Qutb Minarโ€™s first storey around 1192.

      After that, visit Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, one of the most prominent Sikh temples, or Sikh house of worship in Delhi and known for its association with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishan. There is also a sacred pool inside its complex, known as the "Sarovar."

  • Day 3 Day 3: Delhi - Agra

      Day 3: Delhi - Agra

      After breakfast, check out from the hotel & head towards Agra. Welcome to the city of Wonderโ€ฆ because itโ€™s the place of Taj Mahal โ€“ one of the seven wonders of the world. Pictures of the Taj Mahal donโ€™t do the complete justice to its magnificence. Itโ€™s an epitome and symbol of love. You got to be here to feel your jaws drop. Agra used to be the historic capital of the Mughal empire.

      Reach Agra by afternoon. Have lunch at a nice restaurant. Check-in at the hotel and freshen up. In the late afternoon visit Agra Fort, a historical fort, which remained the main residence of the Mughal emperors till 1638. Walking through courtyard after courtyard of this palatial red-sandstone and marble fortress, your amazement keeps growing as you hear about the history of this fort from the guide. In the evening visit the local market to get the true essence of Agra city. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Agra.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Agra - Ranthambhore

      Early in the morning at sunrise visit the spectacular Taj Mahal (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) built by Shah Jahan in 1560 in memory of his queen Mumtaz Mahal to enshrine her mortal remains. Return to the hotel for breakfast. 

      After breakfast check-out from the hotel and head towards Ranthambore. Once a private game reserve of the royal House of Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park, and Tiger Reserve is one of the worldโ€™s best-known wilderness areas. Ranthambore offers some of the finest opportunities for sighting the magnificent tiger in the wild. A mix of rolling hills and crags, and meadows, lakes, and rivulets, this dry-deciduous forest system is home to an incredible variety of flora and fauna.

      Reach Ranthambore by evening & check-in at the hotel up on arrival. Evening is at your leisure. Enjoy your time watching the sunset over Aravali and Vindhya hill ranges. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Ranthambore.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Ranthambhore -Jungle Safari

      Early in the morning head out for a jungle safari tour at 6:00 am. Ranthambore National Park is one of the finest tiger reserves in India. It is in every sense a perfect place for wildlife photography. Later come back to the hotel, have breakfast, and relax. 

      Have lunch at the resort. In the late afternoon head out again for a jungle safari around 3:00 pm, this time on a different path. Maybe you get a good chance of sighting the Indian tigers. Spend some time exploring the area; the forests around the Ranthambore Fort were once, the private hunting grounds of the Kings of Jaipur. 

      The evening is at your leisure. Dinner & Overnight stay and at resort in Ranthambore.

      After breakfast check out from the hotel, and head towards the Pink City - Jaipur, famous for its broad avenues, massive forts, magnificent palaces, exquisite temples, and royal culture. It will be around 04 hours drive. Youโ€™ll drive through the countryside of Rajasthan, thus a good way of seeing the culture of the region. On the way youโ€™ll be seeing many cows, the traffic will surprise you.

      Reach Jaipur by afternoon. Check-in at the hotel on arrival. In the evening head out for a guided walk tour of the Pink City market. Jaipur is also known as the shopperโ€™s paradise. Jaipurโ€™s colorful markets offer a great break to stop and shop on your tour. Take in the glint and sparkle of the rows of shops selling hand-crafted bangles and other decoration items. While moving through the markets, you will come across the vivacious culture of this region.

      Overnight stay will be at hotel in Jaipur.

      Have a sumptuous breakfast and then set out for exploring the best attractions of Jaipur. Visit Hawa Mahal ("Palace of Winds"), a high screen wall built so the women of the royal household could observe street festivals while unseen from the outside. Then visit Jantar Mantar (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is a collection of nineteen architectural astronomical instruments, built by the Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh, and completed in 1738 CE. Afterward, visit the City Palace. Built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during the years 1729 to 1732, the vast complex of the palace occupied one-seventh of the walled city. The palace is divided into a series of courtyards, buildings, and gardens.

      In the afternoon stop by Jal Mahal, a palace in the middle of the Man Sagar Lake in Jaipur city. It was built in the 17th century. Then visit the grand Amer Fort (or Amber Fort), also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the principal tourist attraction in the Jaipur and the current structure was built during the late 16th century by Rajput Kings. This magnificent fort comprises an extensive palace complex, built from pale yellow and pink sandstone, and white marble, and is divided into four main sections, each with its own courtyard. In the evening visit Nahargarh Fort, which provides a beautiful birdโ€™s eye view of entire Jaipur city. 

      Return back to the hotel. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Jaipur.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Jaipur - Jodhpur

      Day 8: Jaipur - Jodhpur

      After breakfast check-out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur, the second largest city of Rajasthan. It is a reminiscence of the bygone era. It is also called the โ€œBlue Cityโ€ as it looks completely blue in color from an aerial view because of its vividly painted blue walls and blue houses. Its mighty Mehrangarh fort overlooking the city is an architectural masterpiece in itself and is among one of the largest forts in Rajasthan. Jaswant Tada and Umaid Bhawan Palace are also among the top attractions in Jodhpur. Because of its proximity to the Thar Desert, it is also known as "Gateway to Thar".

      Reach Jodhpur by evening. Check-in at the hotel on arrival and relax. Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Jodhpur.

      After breakfast set out to explore Jodhpur. Head out to visit the majestic Mehrangarh Fort, regally set on a sandstone hill built by Rao Jodha in 1459. Rising perpendicular and impregnable from a rocky hill that itself stands 120m above Jodhpurโ€™s skyline, Mehrangarh is one of the most magnificent forts in India.

      Afterwards visit Jaswant Thada โ€“ the milky-white marble memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, sitting above a small lake 1 km northeast of Mehrangarh, is an array of whimsical domes. It serves as the cremation ground for the royal family of Marwar. The cenotaph is built out of intricately carved sheets of marble. These sheets are extremely thin and polished so that they emit a warm glow when illuminated by the sun. Later visit the lavish Umaid Bhawan Palace, a marvel built by Maharaja Umaid Singh of the Rathore Dynasty. It was the last royal palace built before the Independence of India. Its foundations were laid in 1929 and completed in 1943. Today it is part palace, part hotel, and part museum.

      After breakfast, check out from the hotel and head towards Udaipur - the โ€œCity of Lakesโ€. A fusion of nature, Rajasthani culture & architecture, the picturesque view of the city shouts the story of its past glory. Often referred to as the โ€™Venice of the Eastโ€™, the city of lakes Udaipur is located around azure water lakes and is surrounded by lush green hills of Aravalli Ranges.

      On the way visit one of the most significant and extensive Jain temple complexes that can be found in the country, the Ranakpur Jain Temple. It holds immense importance for all Jains. Spread over an area of 4,500 square yards and consisting of 29 halls, the temple is one of the most important of the five major pilgrimage centres of Jainism. The Ranakpur Temple is distinguished all across the globe for its brilliant architecture and was voted amongst the top 77 wonders of the world.

      Reach Udaipur by evening. Check-in at hotel and relax. Evening is at your leisure. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Udaipur.

      After breakfast head out for local sightseeing. Visit Fateh Sagar Lake (one of the most beautiful lakes in Udaipur). Then visit the Sahelion ki Badi, which was laid for a group of forty-eight young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of her dowry. Afterward, visit City Palace Complex.  It was built over a period of nearly 400 years, atop a hill, in a fusion of the Rajasthani and Mughal architectural styles, providing a panoramic view of the city and its surroundings. Also, visit the beautiful Jagdish Temple close to the City Palace Complex.

      Then visit Bagore-ki-Haveli, a historic haveli (mansion) that stands magnificently on the waterfront of the surreal Lake Pichola at Gangori Ghat. Built in the 18th century by Amar Chand Badwa, the then Prime minister of Mewar kingdom, Bagore Ki Haveli has been restored over the period of time and is now converted into a museum. After that enjoy the sunset boat cruise (shared) at Lake Pichola. In the evening enjoy the Dharohar Folk Dance Show at Bagore-ki-Haveli. See Rajasthani folk dancing, with nightly shows of colorful, energetic Marwari, Bhil and western Rajasthani dances, as well as traditional Rajasthani puppetry.
