  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrive Delhi

      Day 1: Arrive Delhi

      On arrival meeting and assistance as our representatives welcome you and escort you to your car. Whilst the room keys and check-in is organized, our representative would introduce the tour to you and hand over the documents to you.  Welcome to India, or as we say โ€˜atithi devo bhavaโ€™ (the guest is an incarnation of God). Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you!

  • Day 2 Day 2: Delhi - Shimla

      Day 2: Delhi - Shimla

      Delhi to Kalka : by Shatabadi Express Train. Kalka to Shimla : Toy Train. Transfer to New Delhi Railway Station to board Shatabadi Express (Leaves at 0740 am and arrives Kalka at 12:00 noon). Here you are assisted to the Toy Train to enjoy the Fairy Tale Journey. (Leaves at 12:20 PM and arrives Shimla at 17:20 PM). On arrival transferred to your hotel.  Shimla came into existence after the Gurkha British wars in 1816. From then till 1947 the British used it at a holiday resort and then as their Summer Capital. Completely developed by the British Officers Shimla takes you back to the bygone era as the town is a Victorian and post Victorian architecture. Large number of buildings built by the Imperial government remain scattered and the climate of the town has a clear resemblance to Europe.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Shimla - Heritage Walk

      Day 3: Shimla - Heritage Walk

      Shimla is a Walker's paradise. Many people coming to Shimla regret if they miss it, so we keep here two nights for you so that you can walk through the Heritage Lanes of Shimla with your guide. There are beautiful Churches, A Viceregal Lodge now called Institute of Advanced Study, Army Heritage Museum, Annandale Ground, Gaiety theater and of course The Mall road - a busy street but meant only for the pedestrians.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Shimla - Spineline Trail

      Day 4: Shimla - Spineline Trail

      We drive for 16 kilometers to the North of Shimla till Charabara. There are a number of โ€˜Dhabasโ€™ โ€“ the roadside restaurants here.  This nature walk takes you around a Hill and passing near the President's Retreat descends to the venue of Sipi Fair, held here every year in the month of May. The view of Shali peak across the valley invites you to climb it. The slopes are peppered with a number of houses, villages, orchards and fields. This shady trail takes about 3 to 4 hours to bring you to the road where a village school for primary classes is the landmark for the driver to meet us.   

  • Day 5 Day 5: Shimla - Banjar

      Distance: 200 km. Terrain: Hills, valleys, Mountains, Forests, Rivers, Rivulets Today after breakfast, we drive to Tirthan via Narkanda, Anni, Khanag, and Jalori Pass A 6 hoursโ€™ drive brings us to this village surrounded by pristine forests and remote villages.  On arrival check into the homestay. Tirthan valley is located at the gate of Great Himalayan National Park and is completely decorated by its glacier-fed river Tirthan.  

  • Day 6 Day 6: Banjar

      Day 6: Banjar

      Have a lazy morning. We shall serve breakfast shall be served at 9:00 am. After that, we drive for nearly 8 km to walk up to Village Chaini. This village is known for its thousand years old towers, vertically standing in the middle of the village that was once used to guard the area. Return by lunchtime and then we shall visit a trout fishing farm.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Jibhi - Trek To Seolsar Lake

      Day 7: Jibhi - Trek To Seolsar Lake

      Trek for: 10 km. Elevation : 3700 meter. A little early, we get up for the breakfast and then drive to Jalori Pass at the elevation of 3800 meters. above mean sea level. The area offers stunning views of Himalayan peaks and forests. Lake Serolsar is a tiny lake hidden deep in the forest at an elevation of 3500 meters. The forested trail is covered with Mohru and Khrshu oak trees, the two major species of Himalayan oak. At the banks of the lake, there is a small temple of โ€˜Boodhi Naginโ€™ โ€“ the local Goddess of the area. Very year in the month of April and October a fair is held to pay homage to the Goddess wo protects the area from the evil.  Also you will be surprised to see a tiny bird near the lake who picks up the twigs and leaves, in case they fall in the lake, and takes them away. What a way of nature to keep the lake clean. Return by the evening to you homestay / hotel. 

  • Day 8 Day 8: Jibhi - Rangthad

      Day 8: Jibhi - Rangthad

      Trek for: 10 km. Elevation : 3000 meter. Today after breakfast, we drive to village Pekhri in the EcoZone of Great Himalayan National Park, for 15 km. As the road whirls up the view becomes more and more vast and panoramic. We stop at village Pekhri and start a trek for six kilometers to the campsite named Rangthad. The panoramic view from here is just incredible.  Walkthrough the dense forest and also some of the small villages which have scattered houses. We will sit in some of the houses and open up our packed lunch packets. Enjoy the glimpses of the Himalayan lifestyle

  • Day 9 Day 9: Jibhi - Palampur

      Day 9: Jibhi - Palampur

      Today initially, we drive along river Tirthan and then follow the flow of river Beas that eventually takes us to Palampur. This place is known for its age-old Tea Estates planted by the British and now owned by the local families.  On arrival, we check into the hotel and relaxed.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Palampur

      Day 10: Palampur

      The first visit on this day shall be to a private Tea Factory. A trip to the tea factory is all about learning about tea processing. On the way, you will see many tea estates from where the tea leaves are plucked and taken to the factory. Here they are processed and packed to be sent to Kolkata for further distribution. Later we shall visit the artistsโ€™ village. We drive to Andreta โ€“ the home of artists. A visit to world-renowned artist Sardar Sobha Singh, who made world-class paintings of Sikh and Hindu Gods and Goddesses. Sobha Singh moved to this place from Punjab in 1949 and settled his studio. Today most of his original work is displayed in his house. Next to Sobha Singh Art Gallery is the house of a famous play write and director โ€“ Nora Richard. Nora live in this house for last 35 years of her life this house. She is buried in the courtyard of her own house where as the old structure still stands and is well maintained by Punjab University.  Another attraction of this village is a Pottery maker who makes clay pots and exports to other contrives from here. A 20 minute trial of learning pottery from him is worth experience.  

  • Day 11 Day 11: Palampur - Dharamsala

      Drive to Dharamsala in the morning after breakfast, On the way, we shall visit the Norbulingka Institute. This is a Tibetan Education Centre set up by the Government of Dalai Lam where you can see the Tibetan artists learning and performing. They make Thangka Paintings, Embroidery, Mattel Craft, Wood Craft, and Doll Making. On arrival at Dharamsala check into your hotel. Relax for some time and then visit Dalai Lama Monastery.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Dharamsala

      Today we drive to Village Naddi from where a walk to Dharamkot through the Oak forest is an amazing experience.

      Morning after breakfast we drive to Gaggal airport to catch flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi we are transfer to our hotel for wash and change. Later transfer to the International airport to board your flight to your next destination.
