Daily breakfast and dinner are included in all hotels. For lunch, the tour leader will provide suggestions and directions to local restaurants based on the day’s itinerary, giving you the chance to sample a variety of local cuisine according to your preference. The approximate cost per meal is US $5 - $8.

Following breakfast, we will drive to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can witness around 100 elephants bathing and playing in the river, including the youngest ones being fed with milk. Afterward, we will head to Dambulla to visit the Rock Cave Temple. Following lunch, we will continue our journey to Sigiriya, where you can climb the famous Lion’s Rock. You will spend the night in Sigiriya.

After breakfast, we will check out from the hotel and make our way to Kandy. Kandy is the home of the Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), which is considered one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. You will also have the option to visit a spice garden and learn about natural Ayurvedic medicine (educational). In 1988, Kandy was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The Kandy tour includes a visit to the Temple of the Tooth, the Tea and Gem Museum, the Peradeniya Botanical Garden, and an evening cultural show featuring fire and dance. You will spend the night in Kandy.

Later, you will have the opportunity to take a scenic train ride to the beautiful hill resort of Ella, where you can enjoy amazing views. You will spend the night in Ella.
