      AYUBOWAN-! Welcome to Sri Lanka, the land like no other, and 11 days of explorations, experiencing the culture, the lush green tea estates and all the best adventure experiences in the country. Upon arrival at Colombo CMB airport, you will meet your tour leader and you will be transferred to your hotel (we can pick you up from any hotel at Colombo or Negombo as well). The ๏ฌrst destination will be Negombo coastal town, which has long been known as the most popular beach in Sri Lanka, famous for its golden sandy beach, food, and fun. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • For day one, we havenโ€™t planned any activity, thus you are free to arrive in Sri Lanka at any time. If your flight arrives early in the day, relax on the beach and pool of your cozy hotel. 
      • Evening, you may have a walk along the seashore while enjoying the beautiful sunset and the pleasant evening atmosphere of the beachside.

  • Day 2 Wilpattu National Park Leopard Trail Game Drive

      After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will have a wonderful coastal drive towards Wilpattu National Park. We choose to visit this park because we believe it is less crowded and offers better experiences. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • En route to Wilpattu, visit Munneshwaram Hindu Kovil.  
      • Late afternoon, visit Wilpattu National Park. Also, the same animals can be seen here as in Yala. Enjoy a 4x4 jeep ride searching for leopards hanging on trees or whispering through the bushes, crocodiles patrolling the river or wild elephants drinking water and playing around under the evening sunset. 
      • Note: morning safari also can be arranged.

  • Day 3 Anuradhapura Citadel / Ritigala Forest Monastery

      Anuradhapura Citadel / Ritigala Forest Monastery

      After having a delicious breakfast with a hot cup of Sri Lankan tea or a coffee, you will have a wonderful journey across the stunning Sri Lankan countryside towards Anuradhapura ancient city (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE). 

      DAY PLAN:

      • Upon arrival at Anuradapura, take a tour around the ancient city. Cycling through Anuradhapuraโ€™s ancient locations is a wonderful experience. 
      • Afterwards, visit Sri Maha Bodhi, the sacred tree under which Lord Buddha attained enlightenment and that has stood with pride for more than 2200 years. 
      • Thereafter,  visit Ruwanweliseya, a monument built in 140 BC that embodies the culture, heritage, and supremacy of the strongest kingdom in Sri Lankan history. 
      • Afternoon, visit Ritigala Forest Monastery; if you are looking for a calm and peaceful location, this is your ideal destination. The monks who dwelt here were called Pansukulika. This word means โ€˜rag-robesโ€™ and refers to a vow taken by these monks to wear only robes made from rags. They observed extreme austerity, they lived in caves and in monasteries in mountains and forests and their piety and austere way of life were greatly admired by everyone.

      After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you will travel towards Sigiriya, which is the central point of the cultural triangle in the country. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • Upon arrival, you will visit Sigiriya Lion Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site), since itโ€™s the best time to witness and capture the beautiful scenery of sunset from the summit. King Kasyapa (477 โ€“ 495 AD) built his palace on the top of this rock and decorated its sides with colorful frescoes. Known as one of the wonders of the world due to the amazing architecture & technology being used. 
      • Thereafter, youโ€™ll enjoy a wonderful cultural village tour while exploring the beautiful countryside. It is a great opportunity to get close to unique local culture & life style of Sri Lankan people.  It will start with a Tuk Tuk ride and a catemaran boat ride across the lake before reaching the farmerโ€™s house where you will experience a Sri Lankan curry cooking demostration & authentic countryside food. 
      • Evening, head back to your cozy hotel and relax. If you are interested, you could experience an Ayurvedic herbal massage at your hotel.

      After breakfast, proceed towards Kandy, the capital of the last Sinhalese kingdom. Itโ€™s set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio-diverse rainforests. Kandy is also famous for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth Relic.

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-route to Kandy, visit the Royal Cave Temple (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE). Dambulla has the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains and houses 5 cave temples with some of the most unique and signi๏ฌcant historical drawings.
      • Afternoon, vist the Temple of Tooth Relic (UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE) and Kandy view point.
      • Evening, youโ€™ll explore on your own walking around Kandyโ€™s city centre before engaging with a cultural dance show which is inspired by Sri Lankan arts, traditional dance and cultural heritage.

  • Day 6 Hill Country Tea Plantations And Waterfalls

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll have a wonderful journey towards Sri Lankaโ€™s tea region of Nuwara Eliya. It is often referred to as โ€œLittle Englandโ€ because many of the buildings in this city retain from the British colonial period, such as the Queenโ€™s Cottage, the Generalโ€™s House, the Grand Hotel, the Hill Club, and the Town Post Of๏ฌce. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • Morning, visit Museum; get to know more about the World-renowned and most prestigious Sri Lankan gems and jewellery in a gem museum tour. 
      • En-route to Nuwara Eliya, while driving through the cold and misty hills that host lush green tea plantations, stop at a tea factory to observe the rich tradition of making Ceylon tea kept alive up to date. Make sure to end your factory visit in style over a perfectly blended cup of tea.  
      • Afternoon, you will enjoy walking through Nuwara Eliya city center and the fruit and vegetable market.

      • In the morning, you will enjoy a spectacular train journey from Nanu-oya station to Ella village. It is known as one of the most picturesque hill country train journeys in the world (Train tickets will be arranged at the station / Class category is subject to availability). 
      • Explore the village, Ella is everyoneโ€™s favorite hill country village due to the fact that itโ€™s a wonderful nature-friendly location. The Nine Arch Bridge, a major tourist attraction in Ella, is a massive bridge built entirely of solid rocks, bricks and cement without using a single piece of steel. Ella is a great place for walking and its most famous trekking route is to โ€œLittle Adamโ€™s Peakโ€. 
      • Evening, you could chill out at the village center where there are lots of restaurants, pubs and also evening entertainments.

      • Early morning, join with trekking at Ella Rock to capture the sunrise (optional activity). 
      • After breakfast,  depart from Ella and drive towards depart from Ella towards Yala National Park, the largest and most stunning national park in Sri Lanka, enjoy a 4x4 jeep ride searching for leopards hanging on trees or whispering through the bushes, crocodiles patrolling the river or baby elephants drinking water and playing around under the sunrise.

      After a fantastic journey through the coconut palms, mountains, and waterfalls, you have finally arrived at the world-famous beachside of Sri Lanka. Mirissa/Dickwella is a delightful sandy beach that was a well-kept secret in the past, but now more restaurants and pubs are opening to visitors. Itโ€™s a magnificent place characterized by white sands and coconut palms growing right from the edge of the sea as if in imitation of a postcard of a perfect tropical beach.

      • Upon arrival at your hotel, you may grab a towel to relax on the beach while enjoying a cocktail or a chill beer under the shade of a palm tree.

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll continue your journey along the beautiful south coast towards Galle, a city well known for its Fort (UNESCO World Heritage Site). It is the intersection where classic Dutch and British architecture meets a tropical setting, creating a vivid atmosphere in beauty. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • En-roue to Galle, stop at Matara to witness and take pictures of the most famous Sri Lankan stilt Fishermen.
      • Upon arrival to Galle, walk through the Galle Fort listening to the creaks of wooden saloon doors and observe how European architecture mingles with South Asian traditions nowadays ๏ฌ‚ooding cultural enthusiasts on a global scale. 
      • Thereafter, youโ€™ll visit a turtle hatchery centre where baby turtles learn to take their first swim and injured adults are rehabilitated back into the ocean.
      • Next experience an amazing boat ride in โ€œMaduโ€ river through the mangroves (red water trees). Along the Madu River on the boat you will arrive to Fish farm and if interested get to try Sri Lankan fish therapy. 
      • Evening, check-in to your cosy hotel and relax on the beach or by the pool.

      After breakfast, youโ€™ll visit Sri Lankaโ€™s capital city of Colombo, which has an interesting history running back to the ๏ฌfth century. Even in ancient times, this was an important port city in the East-West sea trade. Nowadays it has become a bustling modern town with a unique atmosphere. The colorful streets, restaurants and modern shopping malls attract hordes of locals and tourists alike. 

      DAY PLAN:

      • Upon arrival at Colombo, you have the opportunity to visit all the highlighted places in the city and also do some last-minute shopping as well. Take a walk at Galle Face Green while enjoying the evening atmosphere and trying some street food.
      • Thereafter, Perhaps, you may pop into a famous and internationally renowned restaurant in Colombo to end your trip over an unforgettable meal.  
      • Afternoon, youโ€™ll be heading to the airport in time for your return flight or we drop you back to your hotel in Colombo or Negombo.
