      During the day, youโ€™ll explore this renowned imperial city, including the captivating Plaza de Armas. As you wander through its streets, youโ€™ll encounter a testament to the architectural prowess of both the Incas and the Spanish. One highlight of your visit will be the renowned Twelve-Angle Stone, a remarkable Inca construction where stones interlock with astonishing precision, leaving observers with numerous questions and a deep sense of wonder. Visit to the pre columbian art museum in Cusco, which presents pieces from the region to the coastal plains, from 1250 BC to 1532 (date of the Spanish invasion). Next, you will explore the Temple of the Sun, known as Qoricancha in Quechua. Here, youโ€™ll uncover the impressive foundations of the Santo Domingo Monastery, along with the adjacent colonial church. Additionally, you will have the chance to explore Cuscoโ€™s bustling central market, San Pedro, where life carries on with vibrancy. This market stands as the cityโ€™s most significant, offering a plethora of fruits, vegetables, spices, and flowers.

      You will visit Moray, an archaeological site featuring concentric circular terraces. Your tour will then take you to the Maras Salt Flats, a captivating contrast nestled in the heart of the valley.

      The ascent of Huayna Picchu which is the sugar loaf that can be seen in the background of Machu Picchuโ€™s famous picture. The climb is very steep and physical.

      The ascent of the Montaรฑa is the other mountain that is located on the Machu Picchu site, behind it. The ascent of Huayna Picchu and Montaรฑa takes place in the morning.

      Day 5: Cusco

      Your first stop will be in the town of Checacupe, well known for its 17th-century colonial church, its recently renovated colonial bridge and a suspended Inca bridge made using pre-Columbian techniques of hand-woven plant ropes.


      Afterwards, you will take the route to the rainbow mountain.    


      Palccoyo is the name of a majestic valley that culminates at an altitude of just under 5000 meters. It is located in the valley that the Vinicunca mountain, called โ€œrainbow mountainโ€. You will be able to observe breathtaking landscapes and feel alone in the world until the final show of the majestic colours of this new mountain that is Palccoyo. Indeed, this valley is less known and therefore less touristic.   Arrived at the point of view, you will have about an hour to be able to admire the valley. On the way you will not miss admiring the famous Red Valley located in the same valley as Palccoyo.

      Flight to Puerto Maldonado (about 40 minutes flight time), in the heart of the Peruvian Amazon.


      You will head to Puerto Capitanรญa to board a motorized riverboat. As we navigate along the Madre de Dios Stream, youโ€™ll be immersed in a captivating natural environment. With a bit of luck, we might spot Capybaras (Ronsocos), Caimans, Turtles, Herons, Cormorants, and various other animal species in their natural habitats.


      Upon arriving at the Lodge, youโ€™ll be treated to a delightful welcome drink, settle into your bungalows, and savor a delicious lunch. When youโ€™re ready, our expert tour guide will lead you along an interpretive trail marked with signs, guiding you to Caimรกn Cocha, a small lake teeming with Black Caiman (Melanosuchus Niger) and White Caiman (Caiman Crocodilus). As the day comes to a close, youโ€™ll have the privilege of witnessing the breathtaking Amazonian sunset, a moment filled with intense and awe-inspiring colors.

      Day 7: Amazonian Jungle

      After breakfast, you will embark on a boat trip to the entrance of Lake Sandoval, where you will commence a hike through the lush vegetation of the rainforest, following a well-preserved trail. Upon reaching Lake Sandoval, you will take a rowboat for a captivating journey. Sandoval Lake, with its mangrove vegetation, is truly majestic and a birdwatcherโ€™s delight, as it is home to numerous bird species.


      In the afternoon, accompanied by our expert guide, we will visit Monkey Island, a unique location in the heart of the Madre de Dios River, just five minutes from the Lodge. Along the way, you will encounter a diverse range of monkey species, including spider monkeys (Maquisapas), capuchins, small lion monkeys, howlers (qoto), as well as other animals such as coatis, sloths, and a plethora of bird species.


      As the day winds down, you will complete our visit to the island by enjoying the spectacular jungle sunset.

      After a restful nightโ€™s sleep, the morning starts with the melodic songs of birds in the Amazon Paradise. A farewell breakfast awaits in our dining room before we set off on our journey back to Puerto Maldonado.
