  • Day 1 Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve

      Nairobi - Samburu Game Reserve

      The journey covers a distance of 360 kilometers which takes approximately 5 hours and 30 minutes. Drive towards the north, passing through sisal and pineapple plantations and frontier district. Stop at one of the largest open-air markets in East and Central Africa located in Karatina town for a brief break before continuing the journey to Nanyuki town. On the way to Samburu, have lunch and pass by the Equator on the Samburu National Reserve. Arrive at Samburu in the evening and enjoy an evening game drive in this well-known reserve. Have an exclusive game viewing experience followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Samburu Riverside Camp or Lions Cave Camp.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve

      Day 2: Samburu Game Reserve

      Enjoy a full day of game-viewing drives in the dry, semi-arid Samburu National Reserve. Take in the striking view of the Mathewโ€™s Range in the background. The Uaso Nyiro River flows gently through this park, providing evergreen vegetation that supports rare species like the gerenuk, Grevyโ€™s zebra, and reticulated giraffe. At night, you can have dinner and stay overnight at either the Samburu Riverside Camp or Lions Cave Camp.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve - Nairobi
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Samburu Game Reserve - Nairobi

       After breakfast, you can head back to Nairobi, but make a stopover at Nanyuki to experience some optional activities like a boat ride, horse riding, nature walks, or visiting the MAU MAU caves. After lunch, you can continue your drive back to Nairobi and arrive before sunset at around 2-3 pm, where you can be dropped off at your hotel or residence.
