  • Day 1 Day 1: Nairobi To Masai Mara National Reserve

      Day 1: Nairobi To Masai Mara National Reserve

      Between 7:30 and 8:00 a.m., there will be a pick up from the hotel and you will depart for the Masai Mara Game Reserve, via the view-point of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town for refueling  arriving at the lodge in time for Lunch . Proceed to the first introduction game viewing in Masai Mara game reserve from 4pm -6:30pm. After that, you will be returning back to the  lodge for dinner and overnight. โ€ข Accommodation:  Mara AA Lodge  - Mid-range lodge  located at the gate โ€ข Meals and drinks: Lunch and dinner plus one liter drinking water

  • Day 2 Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve

      Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve

      After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, while looking out for hippos and crocodile.       After breakfast, you will proceed for a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its prolific bird-life including flamingo's. The park contains a sanctuary for the conservation of the white rhino while species like Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen near the shoreline.       It will be a day of game drives in this park which contains swamp grounds in which elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes, and birds can also be seen and Mt. Kilimanjaroโ€™s peak too if weather conditions permit. There will be picnic lunches.       There will be an early  breakfast  at the lodge,check out  and proceed for a game drive as you  proceed to Namanga border  point for the immigration process and catch the shuttle bus to Arusha. You will be met there by a guide and transferred to Green Mountain Hotel  -booked for bed and breakfast. Today, you may choose lunch and  dinner at your own leisure. โ€ข Accommodation: Green Mountain โ€“Midrange  hotel located at Arusha โ€ข Meals and drinks: Breakfast ( Lunch and dinner not included) and one liter of drinking water

      After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, arriving in time for lunch and an afternoon of game viewing. Lesser kudu, eland, lion and gerenuk can be found in this beautiful park, noted for its multitude of baobab trees and its tree-climbing lions.       After breakfast, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This afternoon, you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a day crater tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants, the lake area, where you may see the flamingos and the open savannah where the lions hunt for food.       Drive to Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakeyโ€™s renowned archaeological discoveries. You may visit this museum at extra cost. The findings include some of the manโ€™s earliest known ancestral remains. Lunch will be at the Camp   You will have an afternoon game drive in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shade.
