  • Day 1 Day 1: Kathmandu To Lukla (2840M) Flight And Treks To Phakding

      Day 1: Kathmandu To Lukla (2840M) Flight And Treks To Phakding

      This morning, youโ€™ll take an early flight from Kathmandu to Lukla. This scenic flight utilizes about 30 minutes and flies across majestic mountaintops of the prepossessing Himalayas. As the flight approaches Lukla Airport (Tenzing-Hillary Airport); brace yourself for a mind-blowing landing experience as the aeroplane lands on a steep mountain runway, considered as one of the most dangerous on the planet. Once our feet touch the ground, weโ€™ll commence our trek down to Chheplung and continue to Chauri Kharka. Afterwards, the trail forms an outline along the side of the Dudh Koshi Valley then climb uphill to Ghat (2,530m). Eventually, weโ€™ll ascend to Phakding (2,610m). The trail is well-marked and advances across Rhododendron woodland, few Sherpa settlements, lovely paintings curved on the stones, Mani walls, and suspension bridges over spouting streams.

      Initially, weโ€™ll encounter comparatively easy uphill trek on the rock-strewn trail. Later, we cross and re-cross the river on high suspension bridges. Pursuing the trail across colourful woodland of rhododendrons and magnolias; weโ€™ll arrive in Monjo Village, accompanied by alluring mountain vistas along the way. The village of Monjo is also renowned as โ€˜the gateway to Sagarmatha National Parkโ€™. From here, the trail ascends to Jhorsalle. On the way, weโ€™ll traverse Khumbu River via a bridge; then, take pleasure of the outlook featuring Mt. Tabuche. Subsequently, we observe our first glimpse of Kusum Kanguru (6,369m) Thamserku (6,608m), Everest (8,848m) and Nuptse (7,879 m). The trail ascends through the forests and bridges until we reach the conflux of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers. With finishing steep ascent of about two hours, we can gaze first outlooks of Mt. Everest, peeking over the Lhotse-Nuptse ridge. In the end, a precipitous ascend lead us to the classic Namche Bazaar. This Sherpa town renders a window of opportunity to enjoy awe-inspiring vistas along with a cosy place to stay, relax and acclimatize in the Himalayas.

      Day 3: Free Day In Namche Bazaar

      Namche Bazaar is one of the most inspiring Sherpa settlements within the Khumbu region.  The day four is dedicated for rest and acclimatization, as these two things are obligatory during the exploration of the Himalayan Range. In a clear day, Namche Bazaar and its surrounding bestow elegant Himalayan sunrise and panoramas encompassing lush green hills and valleys as well as Himalayan peaks such as Mt. Everest, Lhotse, the heavenly Ama Dablam, Tawche, Kwangde, Thamserku, Nuptse, and many more. This very town is also home to the Sherpa Museum, which delivers an insight into traditional Sherpa customs, wildlife and vegetation found in the region, and the history of mountaineering. In addition, a short hike from Namche Bazaar to the Everest View Point rewards hikers with the splendid outlooks of marvellous Mt. Everest and other peaks including the delightful Ama Dablam.

      We bid our farewells to the friendly natives of Namche Bazaar and advance down to Lukla. Along the way, we can discover lush greenery, jaw-dropping mountain scenery and authentic Sherpa villages. We now follow the trekking trail, which traverses across high suspension bridges, the confluence of Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi Rivers near Larja Dobhan, Monjo Village, dense woodlands of pine and rhododendron, Mani stones and prayer wheels, and many more to set our foot in Lukla. At evening, you may explore the Lukla village and its outskirts areas.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Lukla To Kathmandu

      Day 5: Lukla To Kathmandu

      This very day, we take the flight back to Kathmandu City from Lukla. The 30 minutes flight bestows the final aerial outlooks of scenic terrains and snow-capped mountaintops of Khumbu region in Nepal.  Once at Kathmandu,  you can perform some last minute shopping for souvenirs or click a handful of snaps to take back home as the memories of the Himalayan nation. You can also visit the numerous well-renowned landmarks of Kathmandu Valley that bears both cultural and historical significance.
