      Majorelle Gardens Tour (B/D)

Wake up and enjoy an included breakfast before taking in the sites of Marrakech. Weโ€™ll travel to the Majorelle Gardens after breakfast, which have been painstakingly and lovingly created over 40 years by the French painter Jacques Majorelle. The mix of colourfully painted walls, water features and beautiful planting is a pleasure to explore and a surprising oasis in the middle of busy Marrakech. The iconic French designer Yves Saint Laurent and his partner purchased the gardens in 1980 and saved them from ruin, also creating a museum in the grounds including their personal collection celebrating Berber culture. You can spend the afternoon exploring the Medina independently or take another escorted tour to the Menara Gardens and the Palmeraie area on the outskirts of Marrakech, where over a hundred thousand date palms, as well as fruit and olive trees, are irrigated by a network of reservoirs and channels outside the city. Overnight in Marrakech.
