Itinerary of your trip From Marrakech: 3-Day Desert Tour To Fes

  • Day 1 Marrakech โ€” Ait Ben Haddou โ€” Dades
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Marrakech โ€” Ait Ben Haddou โ€” Dades

Early pickup will signal the beginning of your tour. In the morning, meet your driver at your hotel or riad and set out on your trip across the High Atlas Mountains to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Continue to Ouarzazate for a relaxing lunch after a guided tour of the village. Go to Boumalne Dades in the northeast in the early afternoon. Drive along the Dades River while admiring the stunning sunset. Arrive to the road leading to Dades Valley and take a break to take in the breathtaking scenery. After that, proceed to a motel where you can have dinner and spend the night.

  • Day 2 Dades โ€” Merzouga
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Dades โ€” Merzouga

At your accommodation, start the day with breakfast. Set out for Tinghir, an oasis where you may take a leisurely hour-long walk down the river bank all the way to Todgha Gorges, along the path of 1001 Kasbahs. Get some spare time to take in the beauty around here before lunch.  Walk to Merzouga in the early afternoon where your camel caravan is waiting. From here, experience a stunning sunset while riding a camel through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi.  Arrive at your Sahara desert camp amid the dunes before it gets dark. There, you may eat a traditional Moroccan meal under the stars while listening to the nomads who live there play their drums around the campfire. After the bonfire, unwind in your basic or deluxe tent, depending on your preference. A private tent may be available, although the conventional tents are only minimal lodging. The restrooms are immediately outside, and a common room is available for changing.  If you select the luxury tent, it is situated in a more remote and picturesque place, offering additional comfort with appropriate bedding, a guaranteed private tent, flushable western toilets, hot showers, and a deluxe dinner and breakfast.

  • Day 3 Merzouga โ€” Fes
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Merzouga โ€” Fes

If you want to catch the sunrise, your hosts at the desert camp will wake you up. After breakfast, travel through a magnificent oasis with palm trees and fortified ksours (castles) along the Ziz River to Midelt, a little hamlet in the Atlas Mountains, where you will stop for lunch. Continue your journey toward Fes across the Middle Atlas Mountains in the afternoon. Consider the stark contrast to the dry and rocky landscapes of the remainder of the tour: snow-capped mountains, cedar woods, and lush greenery.  Your driver will transport you to your riad or hotel in Fes as you conclude your Marrakech to Fes desert excursion in the early evening.
