This morning, depart for a full day sightseeing tour of some of the historic site located just north of Amman starting

with the ancient city of Jerash (30km / approx. 35 mins), often

referred to as ‘Pompeii of the East’, this is one of the bestpreserved classical cities in the region. Enjoy a wander around

the remarkable ancient ruins including visits to the Oval Plaza,

the Temple of Zeus and the South Theatre, the larger of the two

theatres, seating more than 3000 spectators.

Amman the capital and most populous city of Jordan, and the

country’s economic, political and cultural center. Situated in

north-central Jordan, Amman is the administrative center of the

Amman Governorate. The city has a population of 4,007,526 and

a land area of 1,680 square kilometers.

Today, Amman is considered to be among the most liberal and

westernized Arab cities. It is a major tourist destination in the

region, particularly among Arab and European tourists

You will be visiting the ruins of the hilltop Citadel, the impressive

Roman Amphitheatre and enjoy a wander through the city’s

vibrant souks before heading to West Amman. A contrast from

downtown Amman, this area is home to a plethora of upmarket

hotels, high-end restaurants and lively bars along with some of

the city’s most attractive residential neighborhoods. Continue

with a walk along atmospheric Rainbow Street which offers a

wealth of dining options, cafés and quirky shops.

Then you can go to your hotel to rest for a bit and refreshing up to continue with your night tour after by heading to

Jabal Al Weibdeh , jabal Al-Weibdeh is a historic neighborhood

in Jordan’s capital city of Amman that is filled with old

buildings, art murals, and pine trees. For years, it has been

home to some of the trendiest local cafes, restaurants, and art

galleries. Places are tightly packed onto narrow, one-way

streets, encouraging visitors to park their cars, stroll through

the charming neighborhood, and explore its unique places.

After enjoying your time , you will be heading to Rainbow

Street in Amman is a colorful strip brimming with creative

cafes, restaurants, and shops. The street is popular with

tourists, locals and the city’s rich and famous including Jordan’s

King Hussein and Queen Rania.

Then you will be heading towards the boulevard which is one of the wellknown tourist attractions in Amman. It is a characteristic neighborhood.

This morning, drive out of the city to Madaba (38km / approx. 45 mins).

Madaba, otherwise referred to as the ‘City of Mosaics’ is best known for

its collection of Byzantine-era mosaics. The most famous of these is the

mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land which can be found on the

floor of St George’s Church. Then Get ready to be captivated by the rich

and intricate mosaic art that adorns this ancient city, and embark on a

truly unique and mesmerizing experience of exploring the world of

mosaics.

Continue with a visit to Mount Nebo, one of the most important biblical sites where it is believed that Moses first

sighted the Holy Land. A small Byzantine church was built on

the site by the early Christians, and has since been expanded

into a vast complex. During his visit to Jordan in 2000, Pope

John Paul II held a sermon here that was attended by over

20,000 people.

After finishing your sightseeing tour continue with the drive to

Petra (30km /approx. 30mins) arriving late afternoon
Day 4 Petra - Wadi Rum – Aqaba – Ayla Visit.

This morning, enjoy a guided tour around one of the world’s most

famous and awe-inspiring archaeological sites – the UNESCO

World Heritage Listed ancient city of Petra.

Start by entering through the Siq, a long and winding narrow

gorge flanked on either side by soaring 80m high cliffs which will

lead you to the breathtaking façade of The Treasury (Al-Khazneh).

The Treasury is arguably one of Jordan’s most iconic wonders and

was featured in the film ‘Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade’.

Spend some time exploring the city’s main highlights including the

Roman Theatre, Street of Façades and the Royal Tombs.

After that you will be heading to Wadi Rum (145 km /approx. 2

hrs) to discover the many towering sandstone mountains and

narrow canyons of this magnificent desert wilderness on a 2

hour 4WD safari.

Then you will embark on a captivating journey from Wadi Run

to Aqaba, where the magic of the nights await for you. Enjoy an

evening of leisure in the coastal charm of Aqaba.

Welcome to Aqaba, and a must-visit highlight on your journey in the enchanting Ayla Oasis. Nestled along

the red sea, Ayla combines modern luxury with rich historical tapestry.
Day 5 Aqaba – Dead Sea
