      After arriving at Velana International Airport (MLE), your guide will pick you up and accompany you to take a boat to Thoddoo Island, taking about 1 hour on the sea. Upon arrival and after hotel check-in, the guide will escort you to get acquainted with the island first, then have a taste of the traditional "hedikaa"-Maldivian style snacks and enjoy a cup of black tea. If you arrive by an early flight, the guide will also lead you to visit Male city on foot to learn about the local history and traditional Maldivian culture.       After breakfast, your guide will escort you to take the ferry to Male to visit the city. We are going to visit the Friday Mosque, National Museum and Sultan Park. The Friday Mosque, also known as the Malรฉ Hukuru Miskiy, is one of the oldest surviving mosque in Male dates back to the year 1658 and was listed in the UNESCO World Culture Heritage in 2008. Sultan Park is one of the biggest and the most popular attractions in Maldives. This park is built upon the demolished grounds of the Royal Palace in the 16th century. The National Museum is also located in the park. The three-storey national museum was established in the early 1950s to preserve the cultural and historical relics of the country. It is home to an extensive collections of historical artifacts, from ancient stone objects to fragments of royal antiquities dating back to the Buddhist era and the rule of Islamic monarchs.
