Itinerary

Day 1: Cusco - Capulyoc - Rosalina

Stop At: Choquequirao, Peru
We leave Cusco at 8:00 to reach the community of Capulyoc, around 13:00, where we will have the opportunity to share lunch with Gladys, a friend of the community, at home. Capulyoc is the last place with auto access and the beginning of the hike. We start the adventure at 15:00 hours downhill to the Rosalina Bridge, where we go to lunch and then camp for the night.

Day 2: Rosalina - Marampata

Stop At: Choquequirao, Peru
After breakfast we continue to the community of Santa Rosa where we will have lunch at 12:00. In this place, we can have 2 hours to rest before continuing our hike to the community of Marampata, where we will stay at the house of Maribel and Victor. We will reach the community around 18:00 for dinner and spend the night.

Day 3: Choquequirao ruines

Stop At: Ruinas de Choquequirao, Cachora Peru
After breakfast we went to explore the Choquequirao. We have a 2 hour hike from Marampata to Choquequirao. The start time of the hike will depend on the group, as we can start the hike at 8:00 or 9:00. The full day of exploration ends at 18:00. We'll spend the night in Choquequirao camp.

Day 4: Pinchahunuyoc - Maizal

Stop At: Choquequirao, Peru
Early in the morning we head to the community of Maizal, route with many unlevels that resembles the arrival to Choquequirao. On the way we will pass through the ruins of Pinchahunuyoc that also belong to the reserve area of Choquequirao. At the end of the day we will reach the community of Maizal to spend the night.

Day 5: Maizal - Yanama

Stop At: Choquequirao Trail, Sendero a Choquequirao, 03110, Peru
After a good breakfast, we will head to the community of Yanama. This day we can appreciate many of the Inca roads connecting Choquequirao with Machu Picchu. We will stop on the way for lunch and rest to continue to Yanama where we will spend the night.

Day 6: Yanama - Aguas Calientes

Stop At: Machu Picchu, 08680, Peru
After a good rest and a good breakfast, we will go to Aguas calientes (Machu Picchu Pueblo) to start we have to take a transport to hydroelectrics where we will continue on foot to Aguas Calientes by the rails of the train.

We will arrive in Aguas calientes for lunch, dinner and the last night.

Day 7: Machu Picchu

Stop At: Santuario Historico de Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu Peru
On the last day we can finally go up to Machu Picchu at 6:00 hours and be able to contemplate one of the greatest wonders of the world. We walk for about 2 hours to the ruins and then explore it for 3 hours. We have two options to return to Cusco by bus or train.

This is the end of one of the most beautiful treks in Peru.
