      Your tour guide will transport you by stagecoach from your Nile Cruise to embark on a city tour, unmatched by any other mode of transportation. Begin your journey by visiting the renowned Luxor tourist market, a vital aspect of the cityโ€™s heritage. This marketplace is a treasure trove of antiques, handcrafted statues, and other exquisite gifts that are sure to captivate your senses. Admire the grand temples and majestic mountains below during your 40 to 55-minute ride. After the ride, you will check out and enjoy a breakfast box before continuing with your journey.

      - Valley of the Kings

      As you arrive at the Valley of the Kings, also known as the Great Place of Truth, witness the grand domain of the Pharaohs who once rested in great stone sarcophagi, awaiting immortality. Explore the complex and marvel at the tombs and final resting places of remarkable Egyptian kings such as Merneptah, Ramesses III, and Ramesses VI. 

      - Colossi of Memnon

      After visiting Valley of the Kings, you can stop at the Colossi of Memnon for photos. These twin statues of pharaoh Amenhotep III, standing at 60 feet tall, were named the Colossi of Memnon after producing a unique sound following an earthquake. They guard the entrance to Amenhotep IIIโ€™s mortuary temple and were transported over 420 miles to their current location. From there, youโ€™ll continue to the Hatshepsut Temple.

Later, pass through the iconic Esna lock before arriving in Luxor at sunset.       The beautiful Philae Temple, a Greco-Roman temple devoted to the goddess Isis. Located on Agilika Island just south of the old Aswan Dam, the temple complex was carefully relocated to its current location after the construction of the High Dam threatened to submerge it permanently. The temple was the center of the cult of Isis during the Ptolemaic Dynasty and was one of the last places where the ancient religion survived after the arrival of Christianity in Egypt, only closing in 551 AD. 

      - Unfinished Obelisk

      Located in the northern section of the ancient Egyptian stone quarries in Aswan, the Unfinished Obelisk is considered the largest known ancient obelisk. Although historians attribute its construction to the female pharaoh Hatshepsut, modern engineers have questioned the technical abilities of the ancient Egyptians to undertake such an impressive project.

      - Aswan High Dam

      Start your tour by visiting the remarkable High Dam, constructed in 1960 to prevent flooding and produce electricity. The dam is a remarkable engineering feat, spanning 3600 meters in length, with a base thickness of 980 meters and a height of 111 meters at its highest point. Lake Nasser, the worldโ€™s largest man-made lake, is formed by the dam and provides irrigation water and electricity for all of Egypt. Following your visit, return to your Nile cruise for an overnight stay in Aswan.

They are famous for their colossal statues of the pharaoh, each over 20 meters tall, and were relocated in the 1960s to prevent them from being submerged by Lake Nasser. The temples are a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Egyptโ€™s most popular tourist destinations. After the tour, you will return to Nile Cruise.

Begin your visit with a leisurely stroll along the Avenue of Sphinxes, a majestic pathway lined with mythical creatures that leads to the Unfinished Propylon.
