All passengers traveling to Egypt must be in possession of a negative PCR certificate for (COVID-19)-(hard copy should be printed not a rapid viral antigen test for (COVID-19), a max of 72 hours. Except passengers traveling from Japan, China, Thailand, North America, South America, Canada, London Heathrow, Paris, and Frankfurt will be a maximum of 96 hours due to long flights. It is recommended that customers obtain facemasks or masks with a fixed and stable fit so that they do not require constant manipulation and to avoid detachment during an activity or transfer. All clients must make sure to bring enough facemasks for the entire stay Regulations for the Means of Transportation for Tourists (Bus, Limousine, Golf Cars): โ€ข Operating with a maximum of 50% capacity, leaving a vacant seat next to each passenger on a bus and in golf cars, with a maximum of 2 passengers in a limousine. โ€ข Passengers are not allowed to sit in the front seats of limousines and golf cars. โ€ข Disinfectants and hand sanitizers are provided, thorough cleaning, disinfection and proper ventilation is carried out before and after each trip. โ€ข Passengers and drivers are obliged to wear face masks at all times during the journey. Regulations for Visiting Archaeological Sites and Museums โ€ข Disinfection of archaeological sites and museums is carried out daily, before opening hours, under the supervision of a team of conservators and curators. โ€ข Temperature of workers and employees is checked daily. โ€ข Temperature of visitors is checked before entering the archeological sites and museums. โ€ข Floor signs are placed to maintain physical distancing. Tourist Groups and Excursions 1. Tourist groups shall not exceed 25 people (until further notice). Tour guides are obliged to wear face masks and use wireless microphones inside museums. Headphones are sterilized after each use 2. Tourism companies should provide face masks to tourists and their companions. 3. Physical distancing is maintained during visits to museums and archaeological sites. 4. The maximum number of visitors allowed inside museums and indoor archaeological sites is: โ€ข 200 visitors per hour in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, and 100 visitors per hour in other museums. โ€ข 10 - 15 visitors inside any pyramid or tomb (depending on its dimensions). 5. Schools, universities and governmental organizationsโ€™ trips must be pre-notified to archaeological sites and museums management, at least 48 hours prior to the planned visit, with no more than 15 people plus supervisor per trip, and no more than 5 trips per day.

      Today cross over to the West Bank of the Nile for the first excursion, The Valley of the Kings. From here visit the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut. Afterward, there is a visit to the enormous statues of the Colossi of Memnon. Overnight Luxor.

      Breakfast, start your tour to visit the Temple of Karnak - an enormous complex of three temples dedicated to the Theban Gods. Afterward, explore the magnificent Temple of Luxor which was once connected to the Karnak Temple by an avenue of sphinxes. Overnight Luxor

      The morning can be spent at leisure to roam Luxor some more or alternatively join the optional excursion to see more of the West bank. Accompanied by a guide, you will be taken to the Queens Valley, a place where the wives of the pharaohs were buried in ancient times. It was also known as Ta-Set-Neferu, meaning โ€˜the place of the children of the Pharaohโ€™. The valley is located near the Valley of the Kings. Here, along with the queens of the 18th, 19th, and 20th dynasties, many princes and princesses were also buried with members of the nobility. 

      Further on, proceed to the Madinet Habu Temple: It is the funerary temple of King Ramesses II with military and religious motifs. The entire Temple of Ramses III, palace, and town is enclosed within a defensive wall. Entry is through the High gate, or Migdol, which, in appearance resembles an Asiatic fort. Just inside the High gate, to the south, are the chapels of Amenirdis I, Shepenwepet II and Nitoket, wives of the god Amun. To the north side is the chapel of Amun. These chapels were a later addition dating to the 18th Dynasties, by Hatshepsut and Tutmose II. Close to the temple is the remains of a Nilometer. These โ€™flood warningsโ€™ were positioned strategically along the river to determine the position of the river every year. 

      โ€ข Ramesseum: It is a funerary temple of King Ramesses II. On its walls is recorded the famous battle of Qadesh. Ramesseum built his fabulous mortuary temple on the site pf Seti Iโ€™s ruined temple where he identified himself with the local form of the god, Amun. The remains of the complex include a royal palace and a large number of mud-brick granaries and storerooms, as well as a small temple dedicated to Ramessesโ€™ mother Tuya and wife Nefertari. 

      โ€ข Deir El Madina: It is a community of workmen and their families, supervisors and foremen and their families, all dedicated to building the great tombs of the Egyptian kings. After exploring the archaeological sites, you will be dropped back to your Nile cruise for Overnight

The cruise continues upstream to Kom Ombo where there is a late afternoon visit to the Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to the gods Haroeris and Sobek. Afterward still sailing upstream the boat will arrive in Aswan where you will remain for two nights

You have the option of seeing the royal mummy exhibit (admission not included). Then weโ€™ll visit the oldest part of Cairo where you can see the Hanging Church. From here weโ€™ll explore the Khan El Khalili Bazaar, the oldest market in Cairo, and walk through Al Muiz Street. Back to your hotel
