  • Day 2 Luang Prabang - Pak Ou - Khuang Si (B)

      This morning at 8.00 am we board NavaMekong Join Cruise for a pleasant and scenic cruise up on the Mekong River to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These caves are an ancient pilgrimage site and contain thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years. 


      Afternoon, we drive to Khouangsi Waterfall stopping along the way to visit Phousi Market. You will see a variety of local foodstuffs and products including dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, fish, vegetables and fruit, everything needed for daily life in Laos.


      After that we visit Khouangsi Waterfal. You will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary. 

      You can enjoy a coffee at the centerโ€™s cafรฉ if you chose before our climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River. 


      Descanting the mountain your will find yourself in the midst of the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find a unique selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts locally made by both ethnic Lao and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.

      This morning, at 8.00 am, we will head off to see some of the highlights of Luang Prabang including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang. We are seeing the cityโ€™s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture,

      the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham


      After that, you take the high-speed train to Vang Vieng @13h45-14h45. On arrival Vang Vieng, you will be picked up by driver and transfer to your hotel. 

      After that, We will visit the Tham Jang cave, which was used by the local people as a refuge from Chinese invaders 200 years ag and take a boat trip on the Nam Song River

      This morning we drive 4 hours to the national capital of Vientiane - a charming city with an interesting mix of Lao, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, Soviet and American influences. 

      After check in and time to freshen up we head out on our afternoon city tour. You are seeing the major temples of Vientiane including the oldest, Wat Sisaket, with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. We also visit the national icon of Laos, That Luang Stupa, stopping along the way to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientianeโ€™s own Arc de Triumph, from there you visit COPE Center. The COPE was created in response to the need to provide UXO survivors with the care and support they required, namely by way of orthotic and prosthetic devices. This museum was set after in 1997 to help covering the victim during Indochina war.

      Heading for the waterfront your evening is free to enjoy a few drinks watching the sunset over the Mekong River, explore the Night Market and take in some of the cityโ€™s nightlife.

      Today you will take a flight to Vietnam.  Our driver will take you to airport. We say goodbye Laos and Approaching Vietnam.


      On arrival Vietnam, our driver will welcome and transfer you to hotel in Old Town to check in.

      7.30 am: Pick you up at hotel and depart for Ninh Binh


      10.15: Arrive at Tam Coc, visit a local house, you will be warmly welcomed with tradition tea and candy. Widen knowledge about a typical farmersโ€™ life in Vietnam, about the main business VAC (Garden-Pond-Cage). Besides, you will have a better understanding about worshiping culture of Vietnamese family.


      10.45: Join in a bike ride to discover the natural beauty of the countryside, as well as the characteristic Karst terrain with the limestone mountain system. Then visit Bich Dong pagoda โ€“ one of the oldest pagoda in the North. Enjoy the panorama view of below countryside from the top.


      12.00: Having lunch


      13.45: Discover Trang An โ€“ World Natural Heritage on Sampan boat, enjoy the beauty of caves, limes stone mountain on Sao Khe river โ€“ which is called Ha Long on Land.


      16.15: Departure for Hanoi.

      Today at 6.30am, be picked up at your hotel and transferred to Sapa by Limousine Bus. Arriving Sapa around lunchtime, youโ€™ll check in to your hotel.

      In the afternoon, visit Cat Cat village (light trekking required), where you may wish to try the local apple wine or purchase a hand-woven blanket, and Sapa town.

      After breakfast, start a 5- hour trek to visit Lao Chai โ€“ Ta Van and Giang Ta Chai village, exploring the local ethnic minorities life, admire the spectacular natural scenery with the terraced rice fields. Visit Sapaโ€™s ancient rock formations with engraved images big and small, the unique patterns of the ancients, as well as admire the picturesque bridge to the clouds clear over the Muong Hoa stream. 

      Lunch at restaurant in the middle of village. 

      Return to hotel in Sapa around 14.00pm.  

      15:00: Travel back to Hanopi by Limousine bus.

      8:30 : Our Limousine Bus picks you up at your hotel then takes you to Halong. 

      11:30: Arrive Tuan Chau Island and drop off at check in point of the cruise. You will be welcomed by crew team.

      12:45: You will be taken aboard our support vessel and travel from the wharf via the bay to board cruise. Welcome fresh drinks, wet towels and a special lunch of fresh food and an assortment of appetizing delicacies will be served. You will be enchanted when decadently dining on our luxury junk. Life just doesnโ€™t get better than this! We then set sail for Lan Ha Bay - A member of the Worldโ€™s Most Beautiful Bays.

      15:00: We will visit the Dark and Bright cave, famous for the pristine natural beauty and poetic, attractive seascape of Lan Ha Bay. Here you will take some photos of the romantic, lyrical local see-sights. This is also the best time for tourists to enjoin bamboo boat or kayaking which is an interesting activity to discover the truest beauty of the limestone mountains and the blue sky of Lan Ha Bay. Afterwards, visitors immerse in the emerald, green water of Lan Ha Bay with exciting swimming activities.

      16:30: Return to the Cruise. It is an ideal time for photography enthusiasts to capture the stunning moment of sunset at Lan Ha Bay.

      17:30 โ€“ 18:30: Join the cooking demonstration and โ€œhappy hourโ€ with buy one get 1 free.

      19:30: Enjoy a romantic dinner at the restaurant on Cruise.

      21:00-22:00: Enjoy the nightlife of the bay from the top deck. Immerse yourself in music, enjoying a glass of cocktail from the bar, watching famous films and relaxing on the cruise. Otherwise, you can fish squid with the sailors or simply relax in the room and watch the bay from the balcony.

      6:00: Wake up in the early morning to see sunrise on sundeck.

      7:00: Morning view of bayu2019s landscape with a cup of tea of coffee. Have breakfast

      7:40: Start visiting Halong Bay Pearl farm. The pearls in Halong are the most renowned in Vietnam. The process of farming and retrieving pearls takes years.

      8:30: Do kayaking in Halong Bay, exploring Halong Bay in your own

      10:00: Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay.

      10:45: Enjoy the lunch while cruising back to Tuan Chau Harbour.

      12.15: Get on the bus transfer and return to Hanoi. Take a little refresh up before transfer you to airport.  

      Take a 1- hour flight to Hue. Be picked up airport and transferred to Hotel  by private car.

      In the morning:

      โ€ข 08:00: Our Car and your guide will pick you up at your hotel.  

      โ€ข Take a dragon boat to the first place, Thien Mu pagoda (Heaven Fairy Lady Pagoda) โ€“ the oldest pagoda in Hue city. The 30 min boat drive to the pagoda in the morning will be a great start for the journey. Fresh air from Perfume River will make you very comfortable.

      โ€ข 9.30 am: Visit the Citadel โ€“ Imperial city is the home of Vietnamโ€™s last royal dynasty โ€“ the Nguyen Dynasty.

      โ€ข After the Citadel, our car will take you to Dong Ba market โ€“ the busiest market in Hue with various kinds of foods and goods. Here you can see how the local people buy and sale things. This is also a chance for you to buy souvenirs for your friends and family.

      โ€ข 12:00 am: Lunch at a local Restaurant 

      โ€ข After lunch, we will Visit Minh Mang Tomb โ€“ considered as the most majestic of all the Royal Tombs. Renowned for its architecture, which harmoniously blends into the nature surroundings.

      Today we donโ€™t stay in Hue, we will transfer to Hoi An by bus

      At 16.00 pm, driver picks up you and we drive a 3-hour to Hoi An - the land of lantern.

      08:00 Our guide picks you up at your hotel and depart to My Son Sanctuary โ€“ The World Cultural Heritage. 

      09:00 Arriving in My Son โ€“ the Holly land surrounded by the marvellous mountains, 48km west of Hoi An. My Son was chosen as a religious center, built in the late 4th century under the Chamโ€™s King Bhadravaman. It is a huge religious complex with over 70 towers and temples of different architectures. We will have 2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape, learning histories with our local English-speaking guide, enjoying the traditional performances of Champa People.

      11:00: Transfer a local house to learn how to make rice-paper, you will enjoy your own hand-making product later on.

      11:30: Have lunch at another local house, relax with cold herbal tea, nice foods and fresh air.

      12:30: Take a boat trip to Hoi An with nice and cool breeze on boarding, beautiful river scenery on the biggest river in the Central of Vietnam named as Thu Bon River.

      13:30: Back to hotel

      Enjoy breakfast at hotel. then wait for our driver transport to Da Nang airport. 

      You will take flight to Ho Chi Minh city (formly Saigon). Arrive in Ho Chi Minh and check in hotel.

  • Day 14 Cu Chi Tunnels (B โ€“ L)

      7.45 amm, we depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. 

      On the way to Cu Chi, we stop by a lacquer art workshop in which many handicapped people are working.   

      After arriving at Cu Chi, we access to Ben Dinh Tunnels โ€“ a part of Cu Chi Tunnels which is modified to suit the tourists. At Ben Dinh, we will watch propaganda films showing how Vietnamese guerilla soldiers took advantage of these unique tunnels to fight against American as well as a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. 

      Afterward, weโ€™ll be exploring other amazing tunnels in Cu Chi where you can see various mantraps as well as some remaining traces of the past war such as American tanks and plenty of bomb craters made by the 500-pound bombs. 

      Additionally, you can try shooting a real gun if you want to. There are some well-known guns that you can try such as AK-47, AR-15, M16. The price is around 2 dollar per bullet. 

      Back to town for lunch and back to hotel to rest

      07:30 โ€“ 7.50am: Our tour guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel and then start tour. Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields.

      On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the riverbank.

      Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh โ€“ a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of โ€œSouthern Vietnamese folk musicโ€, performed by locals.

      Visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village.

      Return to HCMC
