Tourists are required to present the following documents: 1. A vaccination certificate showing full COVID-19 vaccination with two shots. There is no time limit on when the vaccination was received. It is not required to provide negative COVID-19 test results or to do a PCR/RAT test upon arrival. • Children under 12 years old who are not vaccinated should follow their parents. 2. A copy of an insurance policy in English that covers healthcare and treatment expenses for COVID-19 for the entire duration of the visit to Laos. The policy must clearly state that the coverage is not less than US $10,000 per applicant.

If you plan to arrive before the scheduled departure date of your trip or depart later than the trip’s end date, you need not worry about your airport pick-up and transfer. Our services are available for you flexibly, and we can arrange for your transportation to and from the airport accordingly. We would like to emphasize that all transfers are included in your booking, and you don’t have to pay any additional costs for these services. Additionally, if you require pre or post-trip accommodation, we can arrange for you to stay at the same hotel where your tour is scheduled. This ensures that you have a seamless travel experience and can fully enjoy your time in the destination without any worries. Please let us know of any special requests or requirements you may have so that we can make appropriate arrangements and ensure a comfortable and enjoyable trip for you.

Transport

Air-conditioned vehicle will be provided for transportation during the tour. This includes pick-up and drop-off at airports, hotels, and all other tour destinations. The Express Train is air-conditioned and equipped with comfortable seats and other amenities to make your journey enjoyable. It is a great option for those who want to experience the country’s scenic views while traveling in comfort. For boat trips, comfortable and secure vessels will be used to take you to your destinations. Our boats are equipped with life jackets and other necessary safety equipment, and operated by experienced and licensed captains. We take your safety and comfort seriously and strive to provide the best transportation options for your travel needs.

Upon your arrival, our staff will meet you and transfer you to your centrally located hotel. Luang Prabang is considered one of the best-preserved traditional cities in Southeast Asia, offering a charming and tranquil atmosphere with its natural scenery and cultural landmarks. After a short rest, we’ll visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which houses a collection of artifacts showcasing the richness of Lao culture throughout the ages. We will also visit Wat Mai and climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred, gilded stupa and enjoy the beautiful sunset views of the city and the Mekong River. We will end the day by visiting the Night Market, where you can peruse a lovely selection of handmade textiles. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Today, we will enjoy a short guided tour of the city’s oldest temple, Wat Sene, and the magnificent Wat Xieng Thong, where you can see the impressive “tree of life” mosaic set in colored glass. Afterward, we will board an upstream cruise on the Mekong River, which will give us a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside. We will make sure to stop at the Pak Ou Caves, which are sanctuaries consisting of two large caverns, both repositories for thousands of Buddha images. During the day, we will also visit a few villages, including Ban Muangkeo, where the local rice wine is produced.

In the afternoon, we will head out of town 30km to the beautiful Kuang Si Falls. En route, we will stop to visit some ethnic minority villages and see how these colorful people live. Once we arrive at Kuang Si Falls, you can swim in the turquoise pools or walk along forest paths. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

After breakfast, if time permits, you will have the opportunity to visit the morning Phosi Market, where you can explore a wide range of local foodstuffs, hill-tribe textiles, and handicrafts. One of the unique items you may find is dried buffalo skin, which is a popular snack in Laos. After the market visit, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight.
