WINDSOR CASTLE T20 (5hrs)(25 EUR) One of the most impressive and best preserved castles in the United Kingdom, the Queenโ€™s favourite residence. Following the Thames Valley, we will leave London behind crossing the countryside until arriving in the historic town of Windsor whose architecture is immersed in the atmosphere of the Tudor, Georgian and Victorian styles. We will visit the famous Eton College, founded in 1440 for poor children and, today, one of the most exclusive and traditional in the country where the princes of England study. We will visit the castle from the outside. It has always been the residence of the English Crown and it is intimately connected with the history of this country. On the days when Her Majesty holds official receptions, some areas are closed to the public. -Transportation to Windsor via the River Thames. - Assistance of our guide. See Westminster, the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of Lonยญdon and Buckingham Palace, where we shall be able to watch the famous โ€œChanging of the Guardโ€ (depending on the season). Free afternoon. In the evening, we will meet at a a meeting point in Piccadilly to walk to Leicester Square, China Town and Soho with its amazing atmosphere, its theatres and bustle . Time for dinner in this area with numerous ethnic restaurants (Indian, Thai, Chinese, international, and so on). Return to the hotel from Piccadilly.

Our first stop is CAMBRIDGE to admire its beautiful residential colleges. After lunch, we will continue to YORK where its cathedral, Roman walls and lively shopping streets will create a charming memory, some free time to stroll around. Afterwards, we will continue north to DURHAM. Explore this charming medieval town full of life which has a wonderful cathedral right in front of the castle.
