Our 8-Day Morocco Sahara Desert Tour Start by the time you arrive.

Please note that this tour does not include spending any time in Casablanca city.

You may wish to come a day early in order to explore Casablanca, and take some time to see its medina.

Be sure that you also visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque. other thing is that the Entrance is only permitted via Local guided tours, which operate from Saturday to Thursday at 09:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 12:00am, and 15:00pm, and on Fridays at 9:00am, 10:00am, and 15:00pm. These times are changable (particularly around Ramadan), please double check times with your hotel. Tickets can be purchased at the mosque.

After breakfast, drive to Rabat by Kasbah Oudaia, Hassan Tower, then drive to Take a guided tour of the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis before continuing on to Fès.

Start early and drive through the rolling hills to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Stop by Meknes for lunch, Take a guided tour of the best-preserved Roman ruins in this part of Northern Africa, now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After breakfast in your Riad, Explore the labyrinth of streets within the famous Fez old medina with a local Guide. The Old Fes medina is the world’s largest living medieval medina and a UNESCO site. Discover the artisan quarters, sample treats from the carts, and view Fès’ famous leather tannery from above. Enjoy free time by your self this afternoon.

Today drive from Fes after breakfast by your driver, departure to Merzouga where the sand see dunes of Erg Chebbi are located. An long journey that takes you across the Atlas Mountains to southern Morocco’s largest oasis; crossing composed of many villages, palm groves. Later we will make many stops along the road at the alpine town of Ifrane, Azrou cedar forest where are the monkeys, in Midelt stop for lunch, and Ziz valley at the panoramic and impressive views over the palm trees, the green valley in the middle of the Moroccan Sahara. Then we’ll head for the Merzouga village.

Day 5 Explore Erg Chebbi

This is a full Desert day. your day start with a sunrise. when you are In the middle of the desert, it’s absolutely worth getting up early to contemplate the most spectacular sunrise you would ever seen on your life while being on the top of a dune close to the Hotel. You would also enjoy this spectacular gift of nature. On the sunrise we return to the Hotel where a hearty breakfast is waiting for us. Later a stop at Tissardmin oasis where we can find fossil quarries that is still present in the area, then we continue then by a road where we can see nomad settlements and learn their secrets and manners. The next stop will be at a viewpoint to contemplate the whole Erg Chebbi. We’ll reach then Kamilia Village, originally from Mali, where we’ll take a relaxing cup of tea/ at the same time , we listen to a concert of the spiritual music of Gnawa. Later enjuy a camel ride in Merzouga dunes, sunset by the golden Moroccan dunes, Overnight in a Luxury Desert Camp under the stars.

Day 6 Merzouga - Dades

We leave Morocco Sahara Desert after breakfast to go to Rissani Village where we’ll visit the market place (market days: tuesday, thursday and saturday), then we continue then to Erfoud where we can visit the manufactures of fossilized marble before starting our way to Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves. Later we’ll reach one of the best places of the High Atlas, the Todra Gorges. The shape of the river has been carved out by a cliff-sided canyon and this is because of its beauty and the huge rock sides that’s very popular among mountain climbers. you would have Free time to have lunch in this wonderful place. A short walk through the gorges is recommendd to better experience the beauty of this landscape. In the afternoon, we will continue to the Dades valley, that is also known as the figs valley going through Boumalne Dades we’ll stop at the “monkey legs”. the Dinner and the night at the Luxury Riad Dades gorges.

Day 7 Dades - Marrakech

Right after your breakfast we can enjoy one of the best views of the Dades valley from one strategic lookout in the mountains, while being there we will learn about the great number of kasbahs and the unique characteristics of each one of it. Then we will continue throught a road passage with different kasbahs of touristic interest. After some stops to enjoy the “One thousand kasbahs road”. the Roses Valley an the big Skoura palm grove we’ll get to Ouarzazate to visit the Kasbah of Taourirt, old residence of the Glaoui or Marrakech pasha. here and if you are interested we have the possiblity of visiting the cinema studios and tue cinema museum. Free time for lunch in the town. In the afternoon we start our way back to Marrakech we will stop by the unisco heretage and the most known kasbah of Ai ben haddou for a short sightseeing. then we will continue going through the mountain port of Tizi N’Tichka with some stops to take pictures at the panorama by the road. Here we leave back the moon landscape to reach another view full of wonders. We’ll get to Marrakech about 6pm, transfer to the Riad.
