Explore the Vietnam First University, also called the Temple of Literature, and take pictures there. During the Ly dynasty, this temple was a symbol of Confucius. Take a short visit to the morning local market near the Royal Palace. This is promised to be a golden opportunity for you to get a real flavor of the local culture.

Come back to the hotel to enjoy breakfast before boarding a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which gives you a panoramic view of the tranquil countryside.

Visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, and marvel at two linked caves crammed with thousands of stunning gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes left by pilgrims.
