  • Day 1 Arriving In Lima

      Upon arrival at any time reception, assistance, and transfer to the selected hotel

  • Day 2 Lima City Tour - Paracas

      Lima City Tour - Paracas

      In the morning a trip to the essential Lima, โ€œThe City of Kingsโ€ including the most important architectural icons of the city, such as the Main Square, where you can find the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and the Archbishopโ€™s Palace.

      Then, we continue with a visit to the San Francisco Convent, an architectonic jewel dating back to the 16th century. On our way to the modern area of the city, we will cross the exclusive district of San Isidro, the new financial heart of the city, we conclude our circuit in Miraflores, where we will visit the โ€œParque del Amorโ€ (Love Park) an excellent spot to enjoy a great view of the Pacific Ocean.

      13:30 pm: Transportation from your hotel in Miraflores area to the bus station to take the touristy bus to Paracas. After a 3 ยฝ hours ride through arid desert and lush coastal oasis arrive in Paracas and transportation to the hotel. (B)

  • Day 3 Islas Ballestas - Huacachina - Ica - Nazca

      Islas Ballestas - Huacachina - Ica - Nazca

      Excursion by boat to the Ballestas Islands (known as "the Galapagos of Peru) to view thousands of birds, sea lions, and fur seals in their natural surroundings. The famous candlestick design, a Nazca civilization figure etched on the desert face can also be seen from the boat. Continue to Ica to visit a vineyard and the Huacachina Oasis for a nice walk or to take the optional Buggy ride and sandboard.

      18:15 pm: Transportation to the bus station to take the bus to Nazca (3 hours). Overnight Nazca. (B)

  • Day 4 Nazca Lines โ€“ Chauchilla

      Nazca Lines โ€“ Chauchilla

      In the morning you will have the flight over the mysterious Nazca Lines (30 minutes); only seen from the air, later youโ€™ll visit the Chauchilla cemetery, where skulls, mummies and pottery shards litter the desert. The rest of the day is free to relax. (B)

  • Day 5 Nazca - Arequipa

      Nazca - Arequipa

      3:00 am: You will take the touristy bus to Arequipa (10 - 11 hours). Upon arrival reception, assistance, and transfer to the hotel. Later visit the Santa Catalina Monastery. Overnight Arequipa. (B)

  • Day 6 Arequipa โ€“ Colca

      Arequipa โ€“ Colca

      Early morning drive from Arequipa to Chivay through the Aguada Blanca National Reserve where you will observe Vicuรฑas wandering on the high plateau. On the way, we will enjoy nice views of the Volcanoes: Misti, Chachani and Ampato.

      In the afternoon take a hike and visit the Calera Hotsprings (entrance fees not included). Overnight Colca Valley. (B)

  • Day 7 Colca Canyon โ€“ Puno

      Colca Canyon โ€“ Puno

      Tour of the Colca Canyon: Early departure to the Cruz del Condor site, the best place to admire the Colca Canyon and the Condorโ€™s flight. On the way it is possible to appreciate archaeological remains, Incan terraces still on use and typical towns like Maca, Achoma and Yanque. After Lunch bus ride from Chivay to Puno, (5-6 hours), Overnight Puno. (B)

  • Day 8 Titicaca Lake
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Titicaca Lake

      Full day excursion to the beautiful Titicaca Lake , the highest navigable lake in the world. Visit the Floating Islands made of Totora reeds: Uros with the population that still live as their ancestors did a thousand years ago. Later visit the Taquile island a remarkable community also with a great ethnic and cultural value; with the best weavers in the region. Quechua, the language of the Incas is kept alive and the islanders preserve their traditional very old costumes and treat visitors in a very welcoming fashion. Pm return to the hotel in Puno. (B, L)

      Note: We use a fast boat for this tour.

  • Day 9 Puno - Cusco

      This day you will have a bus ride with guided visits or if this day is available you can choose to ride on the PERURAIL TITICACA train without ANY tours and an EXTRA cost of US$265 per person.

      Bus ride from Cusco to Puno visiting on the way the Pucara Museum, the temple of Wiracocha or Raqchi (a very impressive Inca site) and a very beautiful chapel: Andahuaylillas; known as Sistine chapel of South America. You will also have other stops for lunch & photos. Arrival and transfer to the hotel in Cusco. (B, L)

      - Bus Departure: 7 am / Arrival: 5 pm

      - Train (non stop) Departure: 8 am / Arrival: 6-7 pm

  • Day 10 Cusco: City Tour

      Free morning to visit the city and its museums: Inca, Preculumbian Art & The Machupicchu Museum.

      Afternoon Combined tour; visit the Koricancha (Temple of the Sun), Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay. (B)

      Note: Whenever it will be possible; to avoid the crowds and in the high season we will program this tour in the morning.

  • Day 11 Moray - The Salt Mines โ€“ Maras

      Moray - The Salt Mines โ€“ Maras

      8:30 am โ€“ 1:30 pm: Visit MORAY a very unique archaeological site in the region; enormous natural depressions where the Incas built huge circular agricultural terraces used as a prototype of a greenhouse or experimental biological station, very advanced for its age. Enjoy beautiful views of the farming fields and the Urubamba snow-capped range going towards MARAS and the famous โ€œInca Salt minesโ€ that are constituted by more than 3000 small pools constructed in a slope, where people extract the salt still using the same traditional methods as 500 years ago. Later drive to Cusco to overnight. Free afternoon. (B)

  • Day 12 Sacred Valley: Pisac Ruins, Market & Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

      Sacred Valley: Pisac Ruins, Market & Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes

      Visit PISAC located right at the entrance to the Sacred Valley, the amazing Inca city that constitutes one of the most important Archaeological Parks in the region. Visit the fine temples, palaces and the well preserved and vast farming terraces; built even as far as the edge of precipices that still keep their straight sometimes vertical aqueducts; an imposing and unforgettable sight that also offers very beautiful landscapes. Visit PISAC the Colonial Village, where you will see the famous "Indian Market" and the handicrafts or "souvenirs" market, this is your chance to enjoy a blend of color, traditions and people, and bargain for exotic craft-works.

      After Lunch at Urubamba Village, tour to the oldest continuously inhabited dwellings in South America, where people are still living in the same houses and palaces as 500 years ago; the ancient Incan town of OLLANTAYTAMBO, with its very impressive constructions built with huge boulders and its ancient heritage that will leave us astonished. Finally catch the train to Aguas Calientes town (1 1/2 hours). Overnight Aguas Calientes. (B,L)

  • Day 13 Machupicchu - Cusco
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Machupicchu - Cusco

      Early visit of Machupicchu; to spot the amazing sun rise and guided visit (2 - 1/2 hours) of the wonderful temples and palaces, later on your own you can take the optional hike (NOT INCLUDED) to Huaynapicchu Peak (2 hours).

      Afternoon return to Ollantaytambo by train (1 1/2 hours) and transfer to the hotel (2 hours). (B)

      NOTES:

      - If you are interested in climbing to Huaynapicchu or Montana Machupicchu the EXTRA COST is: US$17 per person and you must let us know in advance, we must buy tickets ASAP, thereshort limit per day.


      - If you wish you can stay 1 extra night in Aguas Calientes and have 1 more day for visiting Machupicchu but you will have to pay extra for: the 3 star/Basic hotel ($80 - twin room or $70 - single room) and for the next day entrance fees for Machupicchu + Huaynapicchu ($70 pp) and bus tickets (US$28pp)
