      Welcome to Yinchuan, the capital city of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region in China. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the hotel in Yinchuan. Enjoy the free time for the rest of the day.

      Today you will visit the nice Ningxia Museum(close on Monday) that displays the relics and introductions about Ningxia. Afterwards you will head to the Western Xia Mausoleum, where you will view the impressive mausoleum and learn the history about Western Xia, an ancient kingdom which lasted 190 years about 800 years ago here. 

      Later, you will visit the rock painting in the Helan Mount, which is the mark by the pre-history human being.

      After hotel breakfast, you will take 2-hour car ride to Zhongwei, where you will wander along the Shapotou beside the Yellow River. Shapotou is a huge area just link the Yellow River and Tengger Desert. It is a stunny picture to take the desert and the Yellow River.

      Today, you will take 3-hour car ride to Yongtai Old City, which used to be the fortress in Ming Dynasty. It is a small village nowadays, there are local people living in the old houses. The entire old city looks like a turtle, hence its another name is Turtle City.

      Afterwards, you will head to Yellow River Stone Forest, which is amazing for the various clay formations beside the Yellow River.
