  • Day 1 Across The Hills Of Flores And Into A Hobbit Cave

      Across The Hills Of Flores And Into A Hobbit Cave

      Drive through the Spine of Flores - the mountainous center of the island - we experience several climates, from the Savannah-like conditions of Labuan Bajo to the coffee growing regions of Melo, the ricefields of Lembor, the misty mountains where cinnamon and vanilla is grown, then into the lush valley of Ruteng. After Lunch, we visit the cave where hobbits once lived. Then dinner, warm local ginger coffee.

  • Day 2 Cycling, Terraced Ricefields And Traditional Textiles

      Cycling, Terraced Ricefields And Traditional Textiles

      We take a bike ride down a valley road, passing though local villages, terraced ricefields and lush croplands. After lunch (and a shower) we will explore the local market where unique local textiles can be found.

  • Day 3 Spiderweb Ricefields And Departure

      Spiderweb Ricefields And Departure

      After a good rest, we will visit a unique viewpoint where we can see the Spiderweb ricefields. This ancient agricultural technique is still actively used to this day. Our guide team will help explain the history and cultural context of this technique.  WE head back to Labuan Bajo with a stop for a quick meal along the way. Arriving at 15:30.
